This is a great place for the family, my kids just loved it here!! We were allowed to bring in our coolers and our own food which I absolutely loved! a nice change from last year :) Woo hoo!!! There's an RC track that the kids and my husband really enjoyed too! Great new changes here everyone :) And thank you to the wonderful staff everyone was so helpful and welcoming!! :)
Had a fantastic day with my grand daughter and her friend. Need a little bit more shade to hide under after playing in the sun and water.
Our family reunion was in Salmon Arm & everyone had fun at this simple, family water slide. 50-60+ uncles rocketed down the slides (man, those old boys can get some serious speed up!) Moms & Dads (mid 30's to early 40's) agreed that this is the kind of quiet little place you can enjoy without stressing about kids going missing in the throng. There were 4 slides. Teenagers monitor for safety, so we were allowed to double and triple on 3 of the 4 slides. Lightweights needed to double because we'd stall/stop at some parts on 2 slides... but when you use a big uncle/husband/daddy as a crazy carpet, good times were had by all.Water at the bottom is well suited for younger kids - none of ours worried about drowning because they could touch the bottom.Bigger people with lots of momentum needed to keep the shallow water in mind so that they didn't stop abruptly at the bottom. You can pack a picnic and enjoy it on the tailgate or in the RV campground next door if you have food concerns - and we chose to do so.Staff was friendly and accommodating. Prices were reasonable.
Dont waste your money this place is not very well taken care of you can virtually walk down the slide.
Made plans with out of town friends to meet at the salmon arm waterslides. Only to see a sign saying no outside food or coolers. Confirmed with cashier. That we were willing to drive to Vernon because of the new rule. They stated it was company policy. So we left. We had planned a picnic. We had a fabulous time in Vernon at the Atlantis waterslides, only a 40minute drive from salmon arm.
My parents, children and I recently stayed at this RV waterslide campground. My children wanted to go on the waterslides so my father and I purchased several passes for the kids and with passes in hand, we were allowed to proceed to the slides. However, no sooner had we reached the slides we were informed by the park staff that they had just closed the park due to inclement weather and lightening approaching. Weather being weather, not much you can do about that. So armed with the kid’s wrist bands we headed back to the service counter to enquire about either a refund or a rain check. We were immediately met with a barrage of anger and hostility from the manager. We were told there were no refunds and no rain checks – it was company policy as she explained. We indicated since you knew that the weather was about to turn or that there was a possibility that you may have to close the slides down – why was that not explained to us? Why did you allow us to proceed with the purchase? Guess that wasn’t the thing to say – the manager became very threatening, verbally abusing myself and my elderly father when we challenged her and her company’s policies. When I began to protest her lack of professionalism she then proceeded to threaten me with the police. All this, because we asked for a refund or rain check and questioned this particular company’s policies. There are many other RV campgrounds/waterslide parks around that I know would appreciate our business and tourist dollars. I can guarantee that we shall never grace this campground again and I would suggest other tourists stay clear.
Despite some poor reviews, we took a chance and paid almost 60.00, was not disappointed in the least, the first impression was made by the enthusiastic and friendly staff. The owner(Gord, I think) was also helping out at the front counter. The place does need some updates, however the staff definitely makes up for that. My one constructive criticism is that they need to look at an alternative material for the gravel walk path by the mini golf area, doesn't filing too good on the feet, and remove the rocks by the kids wading pool, definite safety concern. Also nice that they now allow coolers to be brought into the grounds.Keep up the great work, see you next year!
I can't believe this place is under new ownership..have some pride clean it up!!! We came here 4 years ago & it was bad then thought with new owners lets try it again NOTHING has changed there are nails coming out of all the boards under rotting wet how ever many years old outdoor ripped up nasty carpet, that leads you to the slides SCARY!! where paints chiping off the side of the slides that then end up in the pool where you come off the slides Real nice hey& the staff hate everyone I swear except for the nice young man that sold us our $60 wrist bands.Salmon arm you should be ashamed this should not be posted as a tourist attraction cause nothing about this place is worth seeing
Fun for all ages. Very well run place and the staff are very friendly. Wish it was open a little later than 6pm.
