Enjoy serene Himalayas.......one of the most beautiful valleys in Himachal...unspoilt...breath taking.
Stayed in Rakcham in march 2014, cannot express in words what i saw.River was flowing, mountains covered with snow. Breathtaking views.
Fantastic trek route to Rakcham from Banjara Camp & Resorts. Very scenic through a village, forests, glacier point and streams.
beauty of mountains and snow was awesome.....amazing peace at this valley...pure and cold water of baspa river....freezed Glaciers were awesome
On my way to Spiti through Shimla and Kinnaur, I visited Rakcham. Al though I could only spend few hours embracing the natural beauty, but trust me it was beyond words. Rakcham was like a prologue to the mesmerizing and breath taking natural splendor which was coming on my way. If there is something called divine beauty, it was Rackcham. There are few hotels, and you can easily stay here, I couldnt stay there because i had to rush for my way to Spiti. Given a chance, I will for sure visit this place again and this time will stay for may be two or three days.
Sangla Valley is located at Rakcham (not at Sangla Village) with very beautiful view and picturesque location. It is just like any other valley in Kashmir and good camping sites also.
It is the most amazing valley I have ever come across. This was the best time to visit the valley. I could spend only a day in this valley, but it was peaceful and serene. The view was breathtaking. THe sound of water rolling through the stones is unforgettable.
We visited in march which is the end of winter. We stayed for 2 nights. There are not much activities to do but you can relax and visit the Rackham village and the nearby Rogi village. There was snow all around. It is very beautiful. You can also visit Chitkul village which is on the indo-china border. I would want to visit this place in summer.
When in Sangla valley, you must visit this little village 10 km from Sangla. Walk in fields of buckwheat, take a walk by the stream or just sit back and soak in the view
Awesome place, beautiful nature, river, view and lovely locals. The peace here creates some pull which makes you feel like staying at this place
