Its an old time post office and very decorated for Christmas just like the whole town :) Made a Christmas list for my nephew and niece and mailed it to Santa in the North Pole
Not much here, but it is just cool to see the Santa Claus post office! There is a neat santa statue out front as well.
I loved the history to the original post office. The building itself is old then the kids get to sit at old school desk to write their letters to Santa.
Where else can you write a letter to Santa and get a response? I love that the building was an original post office from SC, IN
We picked up a couple of postcards at a nearby store and thought it would be fun to mail them from here because of the postmark. The counter was closed when we got there and there are no stamp machines. Got them at the market at the other end of the strip mall. Other than the postmark there's nothing special about this location. It's pretty much just post office boxes and a counter. But it's in a town called Santa Claus.
Mailed my postcards from here....thought it would be neat to have the Santa Claus, Indiana Post Mark. There is a Santa Statue outside. That is about it.At Christmas Time you can mail your letters to the Postmaster here and have them forward you letters. At Christmas Time they have a special postmark designed by a student at the local high school. I plan to try that this year. That is cute.
Love the fact that they use a special Postmark every year.Take all your Christmas cards and mail them from here. The postmark is so, cute
Nice photo op! I always wondered where all the letters to Santa went! :). Drop by! Not a long place to visit, but fun anyway!
If you want your holiday card envelopes to get as much attention as the card, mail them from Santa Claus, IN. You hand cancel them yourself with red or black ink. The huge stamp has a picture of Santa and holiday wishes from the town. A fun way to add a little something special for those on your list. Also the staff is super friendly and helpful
We went to the post office so my 4 year old grandson could write a letter. We were greeted by Holly and Jolly the two elves . He received his letter and really loved it
