Service was aweful, Rude wait staff, to the point of confrontational. The manager could care less. Food was nothing special cold burgers, like hockey pucks, pizza was no better. The bathrooms were filthy,if you go there make sure you keep your handbag close to you, its not the patrons so much as the staff that will enjoy the use of your money
It looked a little sketchy when we first drive up. Then I noticed all of the parking for Earls was full .When you go your going for the music and the people. The food is simple but good. Beer is cold and the shows are outstanding. I've always make it a point to go when I am in Florida if I'm close.
A nice spot to sit back with the warm weather and enjoy the night. Ok beer selection, fun crowd and a limited typical bar menu for snacks. Nice bartenders inside and outside. Good location as well, you cal walk along the river and stop back for some fun.
We have passed this place for many years and never stopped in. Friends recommended it so we tried it. On the outset it just looks like another biker bar, far from it. The front facing the river is just a bar but the Tiki bar is outdoors and also has a beautiful view of the River. The service was outstanding, the music very good and the food and prices are unbeatable. If you opt for pizza, one single slice is all you can eat. I ordered two slices and had to take one slice home. My wife ordered the stromboli and same story. Going back this weekend.
Authentic biker bar, one of the oldest businesses still going strong in Sebastian! Great location and vibe, good food, and the best blues music in north Indian River County!
i've been to earls years ago. hasn't changed that much. bar got nicer.. people got nicerlooks like seedy place. but the people here are warm and friendly locals.went a couple nights for a few beers.. nothing really changes around there.
This could be a great place, or a mediocre joint, at best, it all depands on what you're looking for. We went for lunch, expecting good pub-style food, and an informal atmosphere. What we found was a biker bar and a very short selection of eats. No menu to look at, just the waitress rattling off the 3 or 4 items available. And all burgers are cooked well done, regardless of your desires. That hurt, as I like my burger medium rare, and I get upset when a place, or a municipality, tells me that I have to eat a hockey puck to keep me food-safe! Another strike against was that the place was marginally clean (and that's being generous). So if you want drinks and a few limited-menu items, this is the place. Otherwise, I'd steer clear.
If you go to Earl's take your bike. It's a safe place to go but be warned, it is a biker bar. The music is great, and everyone seems to have a good time there, but it's not the place to go for a quiet date or in depth conversation. The view is pretty, right on the river, but other than that, nothing fancy. It's not the place I'd go again, but I would if I was under 50 and rode a bike.
Taking a long walk around Sebastian we stopped in for a late lunch and some cold beer. Drafts were terrific, as were were hot and tired from walking. Great open air bar to sit at and watch people and the river. Nice bikes coming and going and interesting people. We ordered two reuben sandwiches and asked if one could be switched out with turkey meat. No problem. When the sandwiches arrived we were really happy with the freshness and the quantity of meat. Both the turkey and the beef were tender and delicious. This is a basic no frills bar but the food service was good, and the sandwiches were presented as well as in any deli or sandwich shop. Ate well, had two drafts each all for $20.
We found this place by searching out where in Vero Beach had a Golden Tee machine and I am very glad we drove up to Sebastian to Earls. We even went back a couple days later because we had so much fun. The bar staff were friendly to us, the drinks are well priced, and they have a kitchen with from what is simple but good bar food. This is definitely a biker friendly bar, but didn't any "riffraff" as far as I could tell. We came in on New Years day, during the day, and stayed about 3 hours. We came back the next Saturday, in the late afternoon for about another 3 hours. It's a nice touch that on the weekends they have a grill outside selling hot dogs, hamburgers, etc..I would mention that this is a indoor smoking bar so keep that in mind. But honestly its open to the outside air and that kept the air moving pretty well. Overall, we had a great time and we definitely be back.
