It is located on Miami's famous and historic Calle Ocho, so it is worth a visit to Caffe Italia in Coral Gables! I met with a client and a friend on two separate occasions for lunch and we had excellent food and service both times. The ambiance is wonderful with lovely Italian and Argentinian decor, intimate seating as well as larger seating areas for bigger groups. The wine selection is amazing with a huge wall of wine bottles on display! Ask the Chef/Owner Hugo or co-owner Jorge for their choice of the perfect wine with your meal. You can't go wrong! I ordered the Skirt Steak on both occasions (once as a sandwich) and both were grilled to my specification. But Italian food is what they are known for and if you love Italian, you'll love their wide selection of classic Italian cuisine, as well as their delicious assortment of pizza. Definitely worth the drive from other parts of Miami or Coral Gables! Molto bene / Muy Bien. Buon Appetito!
