Beautiful scenery and gardens around the mall. Arriving there from highway took a little bit long and there were too much traffic but it was worth to visit.
Such a great change from your usual soulless concrete bunkers, with its lovely green garden. The mall is high-end, but with reasonable stores as well.
Yes, this an upscale mall filled mostly with expensive stores; however, it's unique and beautiful. If for anything, go for people watching, picture taking and window shopping, well worth it. In addition, the mall contains delicious restaurants and great bars, Yardhouse, Villagio and Crave to name a few. There's street parking in addition to garage parking.
The best shopping venue we found on our Miami holiday, it was outdoor and the grounds and gardens are extremely pretty and with plenty of public seating areas. A good and numerous selection of upscale shops and restaurants make this an ideal venue for couples and families.
Charming little village with high-end stores, and great restaurants. At times they have music playing in the square. Nice place to leisurely shop or to hang-out with girl friends. If you shop park at Nordstroms and have your parking ticket validated.
I have been coming to the Village of Merrick Park for years. There are many boutiques and jewelry stores such as Hugo Boss, Burberry, Tiffany's, H Stern to just name a few. There are also two very good department stores, Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom. If you are hungry there are several restaurants to choose from. The mall is designed in a beautiful setting with lovely sculptures. Great place to shop, window shop and eat. Parking is easy too, the mall has a covered parking garage and the price for parking is very reasonable. Best thing about this mall is that it's dog friendly!
It's a beautiful place, where you can find a lot of good stores, good restaurants and there is a gym. You can find $ to $$$$ stores. I don't know how it is in rainy days, because it's an open area.
We had an enjoyable afternoon. This is a very pretty place to shop, eat and walk around. It is outdoors - with overhangs. There are shops for kids, home and adult clothing as well as Nordstroms and Neiman Marcus. They have several restaurants too. There were pretty fountains and gardens too.
The Village of Merrick Park is an open air pretty 2 story mall a few minutes from US1. Once you visit it is obvious that this mall was built for the rich upper class and not the average working class Miami resident. The snobs for which Dadeland mall is too low class shop here. It is filled with expensive designer stores where the average person would never go to. This mall with such expensive stores has the nerve to charge by the hour for parking in their garage. It is so nice to pay by the minute for the privilege of spending my money at stores. But to those for which money doesn't matter, paying to keep others away is worth it. Free parking anywhere nearby is unheard of, as the corrupt city has metered every curb in the area for miles. There is a grassy area on the lower level where kids that are bored with being dragged by parents to shop can run around. If you visit any of the nice restaurants, expect to pay at least $25.00 for one of the cheapest entrees. I absolutely avoid this place unless I have no choice.
A lot of higher end stores - not your regular mall with all kinds of stores. Good options for dining inside or outside.
