Absolutely perfect. White sand beach, great restaurants and bars. People could have been a big friendlier but what do expect from the old timers! :/. Meet nice people at the beach and had fun in the sun everyday, no complaints!!
We have been visiting St. Pete Beach for 30 years and always comment on the beautiful clean, clear water and sparkling white sandy beach. We continue to stay on this fabulous beach after all of these years and enjoy our time spent near the St. Pete Gulf Beach! Our 3 mile walks each morning allow us to soak up the sun and the sounds of the waves!
Awesome beach!! Beautiful white sand. Lots to do in town, shopping, restaurants, etc. Walk down the beach to several beach bars to hang out and watch the beautiful sunset. We'll be back!!
I enjoyed everything. There was nothing that I did not enjoy.we had a great time I can't think of anything I didn't enjoy. Enjoyed talking to the locals sitting by pool. Watching the beach weddings that were happening when I was there. My 25th wedding anniversary is coming we are talking about renewing our vows at st Petes beach the hotel did sandcastles I will be getting in touch with the hotel about it.but I can not think of anything I didn't like.
my wife and i have been coming to st pete baeach for afew years.. and we are coming back again this year. its not the closest..its not the cheapest..but yea, i hafta say it is the best..second to none..see ya in july.
If there is one beach you cannot miss on the Gulf of Mexico it is St Pete's Beach.Expansive sand to walk or jog for miles.. Beautiful sunsets and very well maintained.
Sand was great, seemed clean and no garbage anywhere. Did not like the fact that only chairs to be had were $25 cabanas. Spent time sunning and then went back to Grand Plaza for the pool.
We stayed in St. Pete Beach at a friend's place, and love our location. You could walk over the bridge over the canal and be at the excellent beach in 15 - 20 minutes. Or, just drive overin about 3 minutes. Cabby's is a fun little beachside bar/restaurant there. (Food is quite good for a beach restaurant with an almost guaranteed crowd. They do breakfast, too.) The beach all along there is great, and less crowded than right in front of Cabby's. Madeira beach on the other side is nice, too. Surprised at how nice the sand is , and good shelling. Expect it in Marco, and on Longboat, but pleasantly surprised this far "north ". Mix of old 60's-70's vibe around the area, and a few more upscale places. But this is not St. Armand's circle, or downtown Naples. St Petersburg has a strip of upscale shops and restaurants in a several block area along the waterfront, a Chilhuly glass center, and the Dali Museum. About 20 minutes or so from St. Pete Beach. Tampa is about 40 minutes away. All said , a nice area with a lot of potential. We enjoyed it !
A superb stretch of white sand with enough space for everyone. Clearly one of the best beaches in Florida.
We visited on a weekend. It was busy but not crowded. The beach was clean and well maintained. Not as many shells found as at Clearwater and the sand appeared courser, but still a beautiful beach!
