This shopping centre has all the top shops and loads of them. There is a food court on the 5th floor which has lots and lots of choice. Well worth a visit if you are in the mood for some shopping.
Prepare your credit card! There is a lot of nice stores in this mall... and when they are in sale, is amazing! :) They have nice options to eat as well and it easy to reach by subway (Tobalaba Station is the closest one). Go with time, to look everything! :)
This is a large, modern mall in a nice neighborhood of Santiago -- other modern buildings are nearby yet also a good bit of "good old Santiago" so the neighborhood doesn't feel sanitized of character. There is a very good selection of stores. This includes a lower level supermarket where you can buy almost anything you need for food and toiletries and more. The upper levels have restaurants and a food court. The food court lines were so long at the popular hotdog place I chose that I think the Chilean idea of "fast food" may be a little different from my American idea of it. It was popular for a good reason -- terrific food for a great price! Also, the servers in the restaurants and food court where we ate were very nice and helpful, despite my limited Spanish and their limited English. The stores are nice and most are a bit upscale. There are several options for winter clothes in case you're going skiing during your trip!
It's a great shopping mall with a nice variety of different stores and good prices if you know where to buy (with "tourist only" discounts in some places!) but the tittle 'biggest mall in south america' isn't quite accurate when you go for a walk: There are too many useless empty spaces between floors every now and then to look up/down (like a round balcony) that could be used for more stores or kiosks. Don't get me wrong: It's a big (and cool!) mall, but with that tittle ("the biggest!") I think it could be better. Even so, you HAVE to go to Costanera Center if you visit Santiago.ProTip: If you are staying far from the mall, use the local subway to get there. The nearest station is just a couple blocks away from it.
Getting to this mall is pretty easy, as it's close to the metro. Once there, be prepared to spend a lot of time and get tired of walking, as this place is very, very big - We had planned to spend half day around to buy some stuff and ended up staying a full day, which wasn't enough to walk over all mall. They got some interesting small shops, a few but huge department shops and a very nice food court, with a lot of choices between restaurant and fast-food places.Besides the shops, inside the mall there's also a nice water drop with lots of patterns, the nicest we've seem was inspired on the old arcade space invaders.
Ordinarily, I would never think to write a review for a mall, but this place is impressive. The Costanera Center is the largest skyscraper in South America and although the building is not yet completed, the mall is open and busy! There are seven stories of shops, kiosks, restaurants, movie theatres and cultural venues.Seven BIG floors!! A huge variety of items were available ranging from stores selling small inexpensive trinkets to stores selling high end designer brands and one-of-a -kind artisan items. A number of reliable jewelry shops selling Chilean lapis in interesting designs. Several wine shops featuring Chilean wines were also available featuring a broad array of wines sold by knowledgable individuals. There is a GIANT supermarket located in the Center where you can buy anything you might be craving at the moment. Certainly, there is a lot to see in Santiago which is more culturally relevant and historically important, but this is worth a walk-through just for the experience.
Large mall, all brand names. We took a look around and while it is high its not all that wide. That being said you'll be going up and down the stairs a lot. But it's still nice!Getting a cab once you're done is pretty brutal. Good luck!
I love this mall, it's in a nice neighbourhood in Santiago and it has all the shops you need. The food court is also great. I really like how modern it is and how you are able to get everything you need really easily.
Really big mall with all the stores you need. Not your typical fast food dominated food court, but very varied selection of different restaurants and cuisines.
It's nico place to take a walk, shopping. There are many shops. It make me surprised. There are also restaulant. So, we can stay there for long time.ショッピングモール内に銀行はあるものの、外貨から現地通貨には両替できません。唯一これだけは不便でした。
