Plenty of seating to take in the sun or hide in the shade. Very clean beach. Offers bar, restaurant, bathroom etc.
It's part of the El Conquistador Hotel and it is private. The drinks are cold and plentiful. The water is a gorgeous blue and the perfect temperature. It's a postcard. You must stay at the El Conquistador so you can experience it.
Great place for a sandbar party if your in your 20's or 30's, or maybe if you just separated... Other than that humm, if you're planning a trip with your family go through the hotel side of the Island or keep going to Icacos.
White sand, clear water and relaxed atmosphere. Palomino its the get-away place you wanna visit to read that book without any distraction. All you need its peace.
Palomino Island is a jewel of Puerto Rico's east coast. A very tiny privately owned island (half of it is of limits reserved for the owners) it has been "leased" by El Conquistador Hotel as their private beach. Still the beach and surrounding waters are accessible to anyone who wishes to enjoy them. Truly beautiful location you will remember forever!
Sunday visit - had areas that we're not crowded. Nice views on the hiking trails. Walking to the back side of the island to the secluded beach was definitely worth the walk. Very clean.
Just breathtaking!! I went with my family, had a awesome time. I climb with my brother to the top of the mountain of the island. Best decision ever. From there you can see the mountains of El Yunque of Puerto Rico and other little islands.
Everything about it - yes! Snorkeling was okay just go a little further beyond the beginning of the reef for the good stuff. We also brought our own liquor so just grabbed ice from the bar and were good to go!Definitely take a trip up the hill for a nice quick hike
Beautiful beach... Some quiet areas and also fun & festive feel at area immediately adjacent to docking pier. Limited snorkeling opportunities, horseback riding & jet skis.
We loved the beach area w/ the coral reef but the trails around the island and the top of the island were dirty, filled with trash and horse manure (from the horseback riding). It was very unpleasant to see and smell. The entire island would be so magnificent if it were guarded like the wonder of nature it is. The water is beautiful. There is food served on the island so trash ends up on the beach and on the trails. The resort could do a better job of enforcing clean up of the island on a daily basis.
