Grant's Farm is a fun day for kids of all ages. Train ride takes you through animal preserve with deer, bison, and more, just minutes from downtown St. Louis. Then cap off your visit with a visit to the brauhaus for a nice cold Busch product.
I have been to Grants farm a few times and have really enjoyed each visit. We took my boyfriend's young daughter. She loves to feed all the baby goats. I love going to the elephant show. They definately have a great thing going on here. There is even a part where adults can try free samples of select Budweiser brews. This would be a great place for couples or families.
Nice sized farm. Train ride from entrance takes you all around the farm and gives you a bit of history about the farm and the family that started it. It's a great time for the whole famile
So much fun, another free children's attraction. They also offer free beer for the adults. Ride the tram, feed the goats, see the Clydesdales. They even have free parking. It's part of the Busch family properties and you have to call ahead for a reservation. Th we y can get pretty busy but it's worth the trip.
Our kids (ages 7, 9 and 12) do not tire of this venue. It's a bit pricey and the line can be long to get in. Best to go early in the morning when everyone is fresh and the temperatures aren't high. The visit starts with a tram ride around the whole park and one can see the various animals on the place. The shows are always good and a new attraction - the parakeet house - is amazing. Our kids stayed inside the large birdcage with all these beautiful little birds landing on them. Pretty decent food in a German-inspired courtyard setting. We'll be back next year.
Great full day experience. Lots of contact with animals large and small plus a beer garden for the adults.
The history is interesting. Just a fun stop for the kids. Not an all day place by any means but a nice morning or afternoon trip.
The Budweiser family really know how to put a venue together. This place is a great place to go and relax, picnic, mini safari and enjoy a couple of drinks compliments of Anheiser Busch.Very popular in the summertime and a lovely attraction which is free to enter. Just across from the parking area there are some paddocks where you can visit the famous Budweiser Clydesdale Horses. There are also stables inside in the beer garden. It really is a treat for everyone and well worth the time to spend the day.
The only cost is parking, food and souvenirs. The tram ride through the park gives great views of the animals and the shows are terrific. The kids can feed the goats, lamas and camels. Those are are favorits. Be prepared if you go when it's hot because it is hot in St. Louis in the summer.
You first see the historic Clydesdale's grazing in the pastures, then park and take a train ride to the historic carriage house of the Busch family, enjoy the petting zoo and many animal shows as well as the finest historic carriage collection anywhere. A nice treat is a free Beer, food also available.
