- A place to check out different restaurants of the city- As the name sounds, it is good to go with your partner. Just kidding!
Great ambiance, good places to hang out for a drink or to eat. The area is being gentrified and gives one the opportunity to sense what charm Santa Marta once had.
We went for food and drinks here a couple of nights. It's probably the most lively area in Santa Marta, at least near where tourists would be staying, lots of options, nice open concept. The restaurants are aware of their location and target market so beware that you might pay 6000-6500COP for a limonata, it will be more slushie type drink, but the better, street limonata can be picked up for 1000COP in the same area. So, if budgets aren't a huge concern, lots to drink and eat and try. There will be a number of "hippies" sadly most look as if they are foreigners, who will come by and try to sell you bracelets and stuff. You may even find some Raybands walk up to your table for 15-30000COP. Other people playing music and lots of chilling in the square. Safe place to walk at night and enjoy the cooler temperatures.
This park comes alive at night and really is a place for lovers. There are lots of young people hanging out and enjoying themselves. The bars at the end of the park have tables outside and its a great place to spend an evening drinking aguardiente and watching the world go by.
Nice colonial square with cozy restaurants and bars. All interesting stuff in Santa Marta is close by to the Parque de los Novios with the exception of the Finca Alejandrina on the outskirts of the city.
This is definitely the area to head in the evening for a good meal. Highly recommend a visit to the ice cream shop which is run by an expat Italian.
Nice park in an area of shops and restaurants. Nothing special other than a place to rest a bit on a shady bench on a hot day.
Beautiful well kept place, many different restaurants and variety of foods. 3 blocks away from the beach.
Its a nice square but small. There are some restaurants and bars around. It didnt have the same feel as the parks in cartagena but its nice for a couple of hours
A quiet oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the busy market area which is just around the corner. Plenty of park benches to stop and relax on and watch the world go by with a mix between sun and shade which is a bonus. A pleasant little stop to sit and watch the world
