Clear warm water and swim throughs with nice reef life. Always good underwater time and a short boat ride.
These are 2 adjacent great dive sites for coral and sea life. Some swim thrus. Too choppy to do the part that spits you out but a great dive.
Went diving and saw tons of fish and reefs, a lot of swim thrus and arches as wall. A great dive spot.
Great place to dive. An abundance of of things to see. For a relatively novice diver at the point I was, it was amazing. High point was "playing chicken" with a nurse shark that was wanting to go through the swim through I was emerging from. A bit exciting at first, but the shark got bored and just swam off. Looking forward to a return sometime.
Went diving here with Aqua Marine (the Cow portion), and I enjoyed the swim throughs in this dive spot. We got to about 40ft, and observed some lobster, eel, crabs, and shrimp - in addition to a number of fish of varying sizes.
I seem to end up here every year I come. Its a short boat trip with Aqua Action and well worth it. Plenty of sites to see.
The Cow & Calf Rocks are shown on all nautical charts as a hazard to navigation. They are partially submerged, so they are always "awash". Fortunately, they are easily visible in the day time. You can stop hereto snorkel if conditions are calm, and there is great snorkeling. The area is out in otherwise open water, so this is not a place for beginners. You can anchor in nearby Christmas Cove and dinghy out to the rocks. From a distance, you see the large rock, with several small rocks at a distance behind it. Hence, the locals long ago described them as Cow & Calf, because they kind of look like that !!
The fish here are great I even saw a shark sleeping under a ledge. It is a quick boat ride from secret harbor and lots to see in colorful shallow waters.
Nothing really to write home about here except for the swimthrough and the champagne cork. The latter will launch the diver up through the hole. Watch your head!
These are great SCUBA diving sights. Not far by boat. Interesting coral and fish. We saw an eel swimming, two sharks and a turtle.
