When visiting Springfield we always take time to go to Battlefield Mall, mainly for shopping at Rack Room Shoe store. This a a huge mall with all the usual department stores. Something for everyone. Especially shoes at Rack Room. Traffic is horrible around mall. Best to enter from east side.
This mall has all the basics. Tons of stores and a food court. Nothing spectacular but its not bad at all. Gets a bit crowded on the weekends since its not really big. Has all the big named department stores. And if you have small children they offer stroller rentals.
If you have trip this is a great mall to visit with a large variety of stores and restaurants to look into.
The Battlefield Mall has all your typical mall-usual stores, plus lots of goody shops, so if you are in the area and you like mall, make a stop here.
This is a really cool mall. There are lots of stores to check out but not so many you get lost. The signs give simple directions and the food court is fantastic. There is something for everyone here.
Pros: easy to find, has a fair assortment of different stores; ample parking. close to nearby churches. Cons: can be confusing inside; the restrooms are few and far between.
This basic, nice mall that is well kept and modern given its age. Parking is convenient and they have most of the chains/stores you would expect in a Midwest mall. In addition to the mall restaurants, there are many more restaurants on the nearby crossroads a mile or less away.. Disappointing that this mall closes at 6pm but perhaps that is standard for stores in this part of the country??? There's not much to do on a Sunday night in Springfield if you're from out of town, so I was thankful to find a Barnes and Noble a few blocks away on the northeast side of the mall.
Our mall in springfield is decent. Its got all the basics you would expect from a mall. Its nothing special though. There's no real toy stores for the kids anymore, and no bookstores any longer. Its 80% clothes/shoes so if that's what you want then its perfect for you! they do have an excellent kids play area though and the food court is good.
It has it all, Coach, Macy's, Dillard's, Penney's. You should be able to find almost anything you need here. Convenient to downtown and plenty of parking.
We can't find any thrift stores n Springfield, Mo. . Why is that? Aren't there some in a town this large? Isn't there a Disabled Veterans Thrift Store in Springfield, Missouri?
