Great gondola with quick service. Also the Ski Garage here at the Gondola is brilliant and I use them everytime.
Lots of water based activities. Sometimes a witch makes an appearance as well. Hexxanwasser means witches water.
A lovely area for walking, stunningly beautiful scenery and lovely amenities. There is plenty to keep families with young children interested and yet space for everyone to have peace and quiet to enjoy the views.
To reach the water park you'll to take the cable car to the first level which is about 8 min. Ride.Up to 8 people can ride in one car. I've seen people go up with their bicycle in the cable car.The water park is very good for younger kids (up to 12). For adults it's a good chance to relax and enjoy the weather, maybe get a tan. I would recommend taking a picnic rug/blanket.There are a number of good restaurants and a gift shop. Free Wifi is also available. For the kids you'll need suitable clothing and shoes/slippers to get wet. Sun block/protection is recommended also as the sun can get very hot.The last car goes down at 5:30 pm.There were a number of parking areas, #3 is the closest to the entrance/exit.
hexenwasser is a play / educational area for children of all ages based on water and adventure play it there really is nothing to dislike
Plenty of children's areas, picnics, adventures to go on, water features that children could get involved in, good places to have coffee, strudel etc.
We walked for the bottom to the top (around 2 hours). Very pleasant, also for our 6-year-old girl. At the top there are many activities for children (a long barefoot trail, water games, bee house, playground) and a couple of bar/restaurant. A good place to spend one sunny day
Very pretty to walk around and lots for kids especially on a summer day - chilly when we visited but still an enjoyable angle round whilst waiting to go on cable car
wonderful for kids and adults alike with plenty of good old fashioned fun and easy to get to via the up lift system of a long walk
Having read good reviews we decided to visit Hexenwasser this week and we weren't disappointed. All four of us took off our shoes and walked the trail barefoot. The mud troughs were especially good fun and the trail was well laid out. Plenty of activities to keep everyone interested and stopping off points for food and drink. While you could just take the cable car and do the trail in a couple of hours it's definitely worth giving yourself a bit longer as there are plenty of walks once you're up the mountain.
