Terry & Janis Knight have a wonderful location, are the perfect hosts and have a wine gathering every other Friday. Their wine accessory room has the perfect gift you are looking for. Outdoor casual setting ...bring your own picnic or savor the sausage, pepper, onion sandwiches and desserts.
Wine is $5.00 a glass and not the best tasting. Atmosphere is like sitting in your backyard with plastic chairs and tablecloths and fire pits overlooking cows and vineyard. Not much in this town so a nice outting
Enjoyed meeting the husband and wife vineyard owners and their shop where there was wine tasting. You could even go to the vines to pick your own grapes. We had a tour of the vacility and at the end of the trip bought 13 bottles of very good wine. Will return!
Great service, very informative, casual but classy- lovey, warm environment. This was a great place to take company visiting us from Germany. I particularly enjoyed the wines made with the white grape, the Carlos- Two special wines we loved were their white port and a special spice pack to blend with their Spring Hill Red for a warm, mulled wine around Christmas!
This is one of my favorite places in Spring Hill. Just outside of the Hernando County line and down a backroad, you will find this little gem of a vineyard. Tended by the owners with great pride in their wine and business. Upon arrival you will be greeted by one (or both) of the owners, they will offer you a taste of each of their wines, explaining how each is made. You will be offered little chocolate chips to clean the palette. Once you find the wine you like, you can either buy it by the glass or by the bottle. If you like one type of wine, it will be less expensive to buy by the bottle. On certain Friday nights, the vineyard hosts picnic; you bring your own food while they supply the glasses and wine. {We usually call ahead and have them put our favorite wines on ice to be chilled when we arrive.} Soft music and candle glow surround the picnic tables where you and your partner and/or friends get to sit and enjoy the Florida evening sipping their delicious wine. They also have festivals certain times a year. Their Spring and Fall Festivals are filled with vendors, music, and horse drawn carriage rides. This is a must visit if you are in the central Westcoast area of Florida! My favorite is their Strawberry wine only available one month of the year.
This is a small winery but very cozy the owners are very gracious and the wines are tasty, especially the watermelon.
What a beautiful place to visit, specially at christmas time. The owners had a christmas tasting and provided snacks and christmas music by a local artist. The wine is suberb and the atmosphere very cozy. Great place to visit!
The vineyard is pretty, peaceful and fun. The Wines are really good, some blending local fruits with the grown grapes. They have many community events & fund raisers as well as a great evening monthly. The owners, Terry & Janice, are welcoming and warm.
Several great wines, free tastings, and music on weekends while eating outside.
This is a nice day trip. We stopped in on a week day and enjoyed the samples of wine. The salesclerk was very informative. The grounds are very pretty. Sign up for their newsletter for their events. We purchased a few bottles to take home. We loved the blueberry wine.
