The park has scenic views of San Juan de Fuca Strait, and a gorgeous lawns with flowering trees and bushes.
Happen to stumble onto the local production of The Women of Troy. Not being a die hard play goer, I thought it was pretty good. I thought the acting was very good and enjoyed it. It pretty cool that the community is active in the arts and produces events of this type which offers the average visitor something other than the usual tourist fair.
This is a lovely place to spend a few hours. The view is unforgettable and there is easy access to the coast for beach combing at low tide. The arbor is gorgeous, and the history info posted at the entrance is surprisingly interesting. All in all, a lovely slice of real life in this very special community.
Thanks to Trip Advisor we visited this gem of a park. Wonderful greenery fronts spectacular water views. There is a gazebo in the middle, presumably with good acoustics, in which stood an Opera singer practicing her scales. I was tempted to ask her to belt out a verse or two of Sweet Home Alabama but thought better of it (kidding ; ) Great place to rest and collect your thoughts. Enjoy!
Drive the extra 4 minutes to find this amazing gem. Wonderful gardens, and access to a terrific beach for a walk (if the tide is right). You may even find your self walking into Shakespeare in the Park. High probability you'll find yourself amazed by this incredible little park.
Well maintained park with access to a nice, quiet beach. The gardens are very pretty, and I enjoyed the bench swings. Will definitely go back the next time we're in town
Take a stroll through this gem of the OP. Check out he Mt views and breath the salt air. This place is free and well kept.Clean bathrooms and a pleasant feel. A must SEE in Port Townsend!
Very nice park with a rose arbor. A gazebo, where my son and daughter in law were married 20 years ago, swings and playground equipment, picnic tables, nice area to walk. Beautiful view of the water and Mt Baker.
Make time to visit Chetzemoka Park above Port Townsend. Stroll through majestic Sequoias and other towering trees. Wonderful panoramic views across the sound to Whidbey Island. Perfect spot for a picnic!
We visited this little park based on the Trip Advisor recommendation. While it is a pretty little park the trails are short and there isn't much going on when there isn't an event scheduled. A pleasant stop, but definitely not a "must see".
