nice place in a beach area of taormina, very cristal water and quitly location..staff very kindly, if you find relax the private beach is perfect!
Excellent place to enjoy a day at the beach. The complex is clean and well organized, with a strong flavor of italian style. Very kind and helpful staff. Very good food. They accept dogs. Very useful shuttle service from and to Taormina hotels. Would definitely come back if I'm in the area.
Spent a lazy afternoon eating and enjoying the weather. It was our first meal in the area and was enjoyed very much.
Visited this beach several times during our 2 week stay in Taormina. Our hotel provided transport by shuttle bus and sunbeds/umbrella at the beach for €8 per person, which we felt was good value. The beach was relatively quiet in September and a great place for a relaxing day. Very clean sand/pebble beach, beautiful clear water and good facilities. The restaurant was excellent too, offering a wide variety of very tasty dishes. All staff were friendly and very helpful.
Good deal from hotel with pick up and return and prompt. Price of this included sun beds for 9 euro per person. Staff are very friendly and want to please. Service at lunch time was good, again wanted to please, food average but satisfying. Enjoyable, day out
It was nice to escape to the beach and sit on the rocks by the sea. It is a whole different atmosphere from the town. You can swim, hire boats, eat and relax. Remember to bring water shoes because of the rocks and be prepared to walk down stairs to get there.
one of the less touristic beaches, very clean & nice. if you want sand instead of stones choose this. the transfer is a plus!
Although you have to take a transportation to go to the beach, if you are staying at a hotel in Taormina, it is worth to go. Beaches are very nice.
The place was very clean and the staff extremely friendly.Restaurant food was reasonably priced and good quality. The beach is nice. It has a fair share of pebbles and gets scorching hot in the sun. Wearing beach shoes solved that. The kids enjoyed the mini surf and the adults enjoyed a relaxing day.Bigger umbrellas would be better as since the sunbeds are quite spaced out ( that's a plus) there were quite a lot of sun penetration meaning you need to keep moving the sunbeds as the shade moves. To conclude, it was a nice day at the beach, I would go again and I recommend Soleluna.
I guess it's a bit off season now- no ice creams left for sale was a bit of a pity as the place was full of people and it was mostly hot and sunny. Great transfer from hotel. Nice food in cafe. Bit of dog poo on beach right in front of loungers, but more annoying than canine excrement were the beach salespeople. Relentless. Honestly at least 10 per hour- more at times. So a few things that let down an otherwise excellent venue.
