Before visiting this place make sure there is no rain in this place.. there was just mild rain when we visited and the visibility was very poor. we cannot see anything from the cable car. After we reached there we were informed that all activities were closed even gallery for viewing. so it was just like a cable car ride. They will not tell u this before buying tickets. so watchout.
I was visiting alanya for my 4th time , I made a visit nearly to all its attractions , this time I decided to have a car trip to kemer side in antalya which is about 200 km from alanya , the weather was hot too much and we decided to go to the telefrik , you should go about 720 meters height from the main gate ,till you reaching the first station of it , it was surrounded by fogs the we got ride the cabin we were about 25 persons and adventure started , iam very brave in adventure but this time I became scared its too high , and you got scared by cabin movement by cables , but finally you will have great view and it is realy from sea to sky , I recommend it very strongly , I advice you to got some professional pictures by the photographer BUT BE CAREFUL OF price they will tell you more than 100 USD for a CD just make bargaining , I had my CD by 50TL (25USD) , other wise it is really amazing , you should pay per adult about 40 USD FOR THE TELFRIK , AND CHILDREN ARE FREE
i booked the tour of olympos cable car in my hotel best westren khan hotel by the price of 110 euro for 2 persons everyone of us paid 55 euro. it is very reasonable price if you know that the ticket price of the cable car is included in the price for the ticket price is very expensive .it is 40 USD for one person.so the total price of the trip is about 30 usd.they picked us at 12.30pm from our hotel by very luxury mercedes van and because it is december,so we were alone in this VIP van.the trip to the lower station took 1 hour on a very beautiful country-side views from one side the mountains while the sea from the other side .we passed through 3 mountain tunnels also during the road.the trip of the cable car is magical where you see the coulds beneath you.the cable car starts every 30 minutes from both stations and it is very safe and spacious.the view from above the mountain which is 2365m from sea level makes the person speechless.then we had enough time to sit in shakespeare cafe and restaurant in the upper station to refresh ourselves.we chose to stay there above just one hour and to get down at 3.00 pm so we reached our hotel after 4 hours about 4.30 pm.very recommended tour in antalya .
We went to the top of the mountain by cable car, strolled at the station and enjoyed the views from above(2365 metres above sea level), had a cup of coffee and went back to Antalya. It is a unique experience to be above the clouds, yet prohibitively priced.
The feel on the mountain top. The layout on top of the mountain is very good. The comfort and the different views of the mountain and the sea from the cable car.
If you go to Antalya and you must visit Teleferik. It takes a while to get there but the view is breathtaking. I managed to take great pictures where sea, mountain and the sky meets. I would recommend to take some warm stuff as it is really cold out there
If you are in Antalya/Kemer, you just have to experience the cable car ride to Mt Olympos. It is sure to be one of your trip highlights. The ride itself is loaded with gorgeous views of Mt Olympos and the surrounding national park as well as a birds eye view of the Mediterranean sea and bound to leave you speechless!!Once you are atop Mt Olympos, which is approx 3000 meters above sea level, you'll find everything covered in snow. There are ground plus 2 levels at the final stop including a nice cafe/restaurant and open spaces which provide ample opportunities for some lovely pictures. The ride back is full of amazing views as well.It takes 12 mins one way and for a cost of Euro 30 (return journey) its totally worth it. Good fun.
If your staying in and around Kemar this is a must see, it's pretty much on your doorstep so will only take you about half a day at most and the views at the top of the mountain are amazing and highlight why Kemer/Antalya is so beautiful with the mountains, the sea and the sun all together. It also wasn't too busy when we went so was quite peaceful up there and watching the para gliders that take off from the top of the mountain is also good fun
it is definitely a must see if you visit Antalya, Turkey .Amazng experience It is worth bargaining with local taxi guys to book a much cheaper round trip with them then go on a bus as can cause car sickness
The Ride was very impressive. Going from approx. 700 meters to over 2300 meters. What an experiance. A really nice part is already the street to the Cable Car through the National Park. Very nice flora and surroundings. Stunning. And the ride was even better. Long distance with at the highest peak around 300 meters above ground. View was stunning, seeing till Antalya and all the surrounding mountains. Was a bit cold, but what can you expect in 2300 meters, so take a small jacket with you. Overall a wonderful experiance, the only thing in our holidays in Kemer/Antalya which surprised us!
