Enjoyed walking through this store. Lots of pink and glitter. Shared an ice cream sundae with my hubby at the old fashioned soda fountain counter with stools. Lots of T-shirts and ball caps for sale with Blake Shelton or Miranda Lambert designs on them. Nice visitor restrooms are provided in a park area next to the store.
Had just moved to OK, and it was my first Explore Day, I love Miranda but the store was a disappointment. Took 2 hours to find a couple of gifts worth buying and I wanted to spend. The store needs more Western and directly related to Miranda/Blake merchandise. It was so obviously missing could not help but wonder if she is hindered from selling because of legal issues. That said, my daughter is coming to visit and we're taking the 3 hour trip again...lol We really love Miranda!
If you are big Miranda Lambert fans like my family, then it is a trip worth making. Just by putting in a little shop in a small town you can see there has been a boost in the economy. Friendly staff in the Pink Pistol and a lot of things to choose from.My 23 year old daughter wanted to go here for her birthday. It was a fun family trip for the day. Would have been even better if Miranda and Blake had been there.
My family and I drove 3 hours from Kansas, OK to go to the Pink Pistol. We are fans of Miranda and Blake. Easy to find. Parked right out front of store. Walked in and was greeted by several employees. I was looking for a hoodie and they didn't have my size and one of the employees heard me. She bounced off and grabbed me a hoodie from the back and brought my sister one also!! Great customer service! We walked through the store and found lots of cute items...flasks, t shirts, signs, earrings, bracelets, cups, and more. We had ice cream and took lots of pictures. Employees also took our photographs so we were ALL in the photos. :) Very cute store. Worth the drive for us.
I took my grown daughter and teenage granddaughters to the store. We all found something to buy. I would recommend this as a short out of the way go to place. It's fun and unusual.
We stopped in on our way to the blue river. They have cute clothes and jewelry. Lots of other junk too. Price range most people can afford. Id recommend swinging by at least once to check it out. Bbq next door is good... saw Miranda in there.
Two of my besties and me took a road trip to Tish to visit The Pink Pistol. We each bought armloads of stuff! What great presents and souvenirs they have in the store! I can honestly say that some of the stuff they carry, I have never seen anywhere else. It was a lot of fun. The employees were friendly and helpful - we loved it. We also got an excellent recommendation of where to eat lunch and we shopped the other stores near TPP. Lots of cute stores in that block. We really enjoyed our day and will definitely do it again sometime.
I've wanted to visit this store since the first time I had heard about it. They always post so many cute things on Instagram and Facebook. I see now why they don't do an online store.. its definitely something you have to experience. I easily found way too many things to buy! Made it even better that the hubby surprised me with the trip and it was only the first stop on the way! I was so hoping that it would just happen to be a day that Miranda would be there, or Blake too. It would of been sooo cool to meet them. Everyone says what a delight it is! This won't be my last trip here, that's for sure, so maybe next time. Plus I can't wait to stay at The Ladysmith B&B across the street.
The store itself is cute and a novelty. The merchandise is mostly mass produced trinkets you can get anywhere for less. The glitzy belts for instance are readily available at Atwoods and other western apparel stores for less. I find a poorly constructed t-shirt with a few cute sayings at $38 a bit much. While it was eyecandy and good to go for a look around, buying something that is not unique and overly priced is kind of silly just because it's a store owned by an entertainer. Frankly markup for clothing and accessories is already high anywhere you go I would think that this place could still lower prices 20% and make plenty of profit. Whether you're a fan of Mirdanda's or not this store is expensive and the quality of goods nothing special.
So we all know that the draw for the Pink Pistol is that it's Miranda Lambert's retail baby. So, honestly, I didn't have high hopes on the quality vs. price. But, much to my surprise, the items she carries are very unique and reasonably priced. Plus the fun decor has numerous photo ops! Being an Okie girl that moved to Texas 27 years ago, you'd think that my closet would have at least a couple pairs of cowboy boots inhabiting it, but my honest to goodness VERY FIRST COWBOY BOOTS were purchased at the Pink Pistol! I also can't forget to give the staff a big thumbs up for customer service. Everyone was so friendly, and seemed genuinely glad that we stopped in to say "hi ya'll". Definitely don't miss this place next time you're in the Tishomingo area.
