Great small park to cook out or just chill out. Free wifi at the park. Plenty of shade and the Rio Grande drifts by which nice to watch the water.
we also went to the Ralph Edwards museum..he apparently adopted T or C as his own! Lot's of TV history there...!
Very nice park to hangout which is right next to the Rio grande: plus you can walk downtown to visit the Art Gallery and great Bookstore.
Ralph Edwards park is a nice green space near the Truth or Consequences historic district. The park has restrooms, covered picnic tables, a skate park, basketball hoops, an area for playing horseshoes, and a gazebo. The park is located along the Rio Grande River. Dogs are allowed in the park. There are no signs posting a closing time for the park. T or C's annual Fiesta is held the first weekend of May in Ralph Edwards Park.
Right on the Rio Grande. Easy walk from shops in downtown. History of the hot springs and who bathed there.
Cute little park - great family vibe. Dogs all on leash - it's on the Reo Grande river, which is nice. But more importantly for me, I like having a nice place to walk my girl.
Would be a nice place to take kids if traveling with your family-playground, picnic area, fishing pond, but not really much to do for adults. We just drove through.
Small but terrific!! What a lovely little spot. the pond, the trees and the calmness are great. It is worth stopping and just relaxing. Just sit, relax and enjoy.
Just a quick note about this community park - it's kinda plain, but tidy - but every Saturday from May through the end of October it hosts the local Farmers Market. Some fruit and veggies, hand made soaps and oils, locally owned real aged balsamic (too die for), home made breads and pastries. From 9 am till about noon. Worth the effort to find it.
Nothing extraordinary about the park but the history. It used to be an Apache-favored site for ceremony. Sadly, this aspect of the park has been neglected and undermined by ordinary park benches and marginal landscaping.
