Lots of neat exhibits and great view of the river! Everyone was really nice. Has a diving bell simulator that was pretty cool
First visit to Water Park, and was surprised at how nice it was. Will be going back and taking cruise and visiting museum.
Looking for something to do besides gamble? This is a nice place and well worth hanging out here. Stop and get a picnic lunch on a nice day and sit by the river and eat then visit the displays. Clean and the staff if helpful.
It was a delightful way to spend a couple of hours. (away from the casinos) Very relaxing and very informative.
The museum is right on the river. It is large and everything is well labelled and documented. It will take about 3 hours to see it and maybe longer depending on your interest. Life on the Mississippi.Sorry I don't remember the admission fees but it must of been reasonable. I think we stopped at the Chamber office on Hwy.61 and got info on it with a discount card. Good for young adults from maybe 10-12 years old and all adults.Visited August 2014
kids loved the diver bell journey to the bottom of the river exhibit, and the aquariums .Also on the third floor you have a beautiful view of the river
I was visiting the casinos for 5 days, and was looking for something to do. I brought my bike on my trip and was glad I did. This is the best place to ride. The trails are so beautiful. If you need to find a peaceful place to recharge, the river park is perfect !!!! There is so much to learn here. Thank you for 5 days of tranquility .
The Tunica RiverPark is a very interesting place that has lots of facts about the Mississippi River. We found it to be very interesting, especially hearing things about the river that I had never heard anywhere else. I grew up and live near the Mississippi River and found it to be a very enjoyable experince. There are lots of displays on sight, all about the Mississppi. I would recommend it if you are in the Tunica area. There is something to be learned for the whole family.
Scenic Walk, our the museum ($10), check out the gift shop, or sit outside on a rocker and watch the Mississippi flow by. If you have the time, take a cruise on the Tunica Queen. ($19 for the scenic cruise, $50 for the dinner cruise) You will be gone about 90 minutes.
Very nice place to view the river, has a river boat that you can ride on but was closed that day.Has a museum inside none, of the interactive displays worked due to a power outage the night before, a few tanks with fish, gators and turtles. Has some art upstairs.
