I returned to visit this place many years after my first visit and I had a sensation of delusion. Yes, it is wide, there is lot of green, you can walk along many tracks, but when you reach the places that are mention don the map you find always spots below the expectation.
have a visit with yr kids. it's a gourgeous place to spend a day with kids or read a book lying on the grass (remaind me of a british park )organized and easy to go around
The park is nice and huge but at this time of year, there were only tulips, green grass and not much more. The lakes were dirty and as we heard many kids saying; "there are no turtles in the turtle pond!" Perhaps there are more flowers and the lakes cleaned out for the summer, but for now EURO 12 a person is exaggerated, they should regulate their prices based on the season, especially since we've seen parks like this in various cities for free. No real need to rent the golf carts as it is nicer to absorb walking.
Very attractive garden. We rented a "golf buggy" for one hour and our children also really enjoyed the land train.
What a stunning place to visit! Admittedly very long to walk around so we rented a caddy! €16 for 1 hour and we drove around to view the place! We then sat and read books in the shade enjoying the view! It is not very exciting but a. Dry pretty place to visit and definitely should be done for 1 afternoon. You can get a bus here easily.
You can walk or rent a bike, I think walk is fine, you can explore all paths and main "attractions" shown in the map you get at the entrance. Not very impressed by the farm, the small maze is fun, the roses path gives a nice view on the castle. To go out you risk to have to walk a lot, the more intuitive path is closed and you need to go back a long way.
This seems more a park than garden but it is beautifully laid out with vast areas of lawn and large variety of trees. We arrived in a thunderstorm but after it cleared we were lucky to be able to wander around an almost deserted park.
our appartment on garda trip was very close to burghatta village and so siggurta park was near too.It isgood place for family with kids. but you must choose periode that they have flavore. we rent bicicale for our 8 year sun and he enjoy this place. you get map with interesting place not evry place really interesting . i thing the labirint and the panoranic view was great. if you near this place i can recommend you visit it
We visited as part of a group with limited time, so we went around on the land train first cost= (3 Euro ) about 35-45 minutes well worth it as the park is quite hilly in some places. ?It took it the most important places with Italian- German - & English commentary. Some may call it a Garden some may say a Park a mixture of plants, trees and ponds. We went on a very hot and dry day so when off the train spent some time looking closer at the items of interest,. Plenty of room for children to run around, Transport inside to pay or hire = Land Train, Small coach- Bike, Golf buggy with electronic map and guide ------ or just good old feet...Well worth the visit some seasons would produce more colour than others but good mix of plants and trees. single adult entry June 2014 = 12 Euro children 0-4 free... children 5-14 6.50 Euro ... 100% disabled free + accompanying person reduced at 9.50 Euro . Came by special bus so not sure about car parking . NEED MAP web= www.sigurta.it.
we were here in 2007. very attractive park with beautiful colours of flowers, trees and relaxing corners. there is a train that took us all around so we could see more places without walking. very romantic. we loved the japanese corner and the tulips and coloured fish, and everything. It's nice to take here a wedding photo.
