reminds me of going to the cinema as a child but the seats are better quality now. Lovely old decor and not too crowded
On a stinking hot day in Victor Harbor we decided to escape the heat by taking in an afternoon movie. Fabulous, quaint old style cinema and perhaps it was my imagination but I'm sure it was cheaper than cinemas back in Melbourne.Worth noting though that there is no allocated seating. Therefore if it's busy or you are in a larger group it would be worth queuing early to ensure you can sit together. As a result we found that the foyer was jammed when we arrived so not possible to buy any food and there was quite a scrum to get into the cinema. We also found the seats to be on the snug side and leg room certainly less than we are used to.
All the latest movies, lovely little cinema, a real joy for the locals and visitors to Victor Harbor. Just like the cinema I used to go to on a Saturday morning when I was a kid in England
New movies showing in this quaint old cinema. The seats were comfortable and the cinema was in great condition. You can purchase the usual popcorn and choc tops and there are two cinemas showing current movies. The place was clean and well kept. Great air conditioning on a 42 degree day!! Well worth a visit
All up to date movies. Senior Card Discount. Wednesday coffee morning with cake and bickies. Closed Mondays. Lots of childrens and family movies during school holidays.
Don't miss a trip here if you're staying on the Fleurieu. Its a trip down memory lane - its like stepping back in time. Having said that its not worn out - its lovely and clean and well kept. No 3D though which is a shame as we end up travelling 45mins to see 3D when we'd prefer to see it here if it was available.
We have been to this cinema many times over recent years and always really enjoy the experience. Classic Art Deco decor. Nostalgic look and feel. Well maintained. Comfortable seating. Movies are recent releases with many screening times to choose from. Love the Wednesday am coffee and cake sessions!
we visited the cinemas to avoid the heat, kids enjoyed the movie. Older style cinema with older seats. Seats are not allocated so be early on a busy day so you don't miss out.
Not many vintage cinemas like this left to visit but most importantly is how well this cinema has been maintained by its owners. Even has a traditional candy bar and ushers. We'll with the visit.
The seats were very comfortable and the rows had plenty of leg room. A few more seats in the foyer wouldnt go astray.
