Wonderful display of antique and not-so-antique cars brought back memories of teen age dreams for the "hot" car of the day. Well displayed, these cars are up close and personal, clean, and expensive! Special exhibits of TV and motion picture cars were interesting and memorable. Recommend it for families with older youth and teens.
A collection of cars from old to new. A great place to spend the day, they have cars from a ton of different movies, and celebrities, to collectible and vintage. The best part is that most of them are for sale, so if ya got a pocketful of cash your in luck! Also has a huge flea market style sale onsite with reasonable prices, selling everything from die-cast to artwork.
This is a fantastic place! We loved that we got to take photos on the Flintstone car! We had so much fun! My husband is a car freak so this was right up his alley! We both enjoyed seeing cars from our favorite movies! This is one place we will have to stop by again! Was worth the money! A lot of good photo opps too!
PROS: plenty of cars to look at; abundant parking; close to nearby restaurants, the selection of cars has something for everybody- it reminds me of the Historic Auto Attraction Museum in Roscoe, IL.; the annual pass can be worth your while if you plan on returning 2 more times. CONS: if you are sensitive to the smell of automotive oil, it may be bothersome in some parts of the museum.
Stopped while heading back home from Kenosha. Had family go here but had never came here myself. There are five buildings with cars with another being the military museum. I was amazed at the excellent condition of all the cars especially the ones for sale. The biggest highlight was seeing the movie cars such as the Delorean from Back to the Future and the original batmobile. The bizarre ones like Elton John's piano car and a dragster looking like a guitar are cool too. It was bitterly cold out though the buildings aren't far apart. Would buy one of the Dodge Chargers if I could afford it. There are also displays outside including a harrier jet. There are antique malls for those not into cars and the kids will enjoy the disney area!!
I didn't know what to expect going to this place, but wow! This place is great. They have five showrooms packed with cars. There is something for everyone here. A Disney showroom with lots of disney cars and celebrities old cars. Lots of American muscle. Pre WWII cars. Lots of movie cars. This place is amazing, stop by if you get a chance.
Met 2 nephews at O'Hare and spent the day looking at cars and figuring out which ones we'd buy first if money was no option. Third time I've been there, and every visit has a completely different set of cars on consignment. I love it. My fav antique car place to visit. You can even touch and feel, as opposed to standing behind ropes. Go and play, buy, dream.....
A lot of different and unique cars and other things. Some are for sale, but most are just for show. It was really nice to see all the different makes and models all in one place.
Fun place for the whole family and you need a whole day to see it, 5 fabulous warehouses full of cars and movie memorabilia. A huge 5 building antique mall. a very nice indoor military display. Lots of neat stuff to buy and if you have the money, buy one of their cars for sale. They have food there and the family pass is reasonable. We go there with an annual pass just to see the rotation of great cars they sell.
Coolest. Place. Ever. I didn't even know there were that many classic cars in Illinois. 5 SHOWROOMS!! I had seen billboards and heard advertisements on the radio, and I had to check it out. The atmosphere when you walk in just brings you back a couple decades. After you get your tickets, which are decently priced, you walk into a room full of cars I had never even heard of. Duisenbergs. They were absolutely stunning. After that there are showrooms full of hundreds of classis cars. Mustangs, chevelles, corvettes, Camaros. They had cars from movies and tv shows, and a showroom that had famous peoples cars like Oprah and Michael Jordan. Anyway, I would absolutely recommend this if you happen to be in the area, if not it still would be worth the drive.
