For several years my husband and I are subscribers to this wonderful orchestra. Under the baton of the recently appointed conductor Donato Cabrera this orchestra really excels. And what makes it even more attractive to us is that we don't have to travel to San Francisco to hear a first class orchestra perform a variety of favorite symphonic masterpieces.

This symphony is good. However, when compared to all the other better choices in the Bay Area, their just average. Worth a single visit if you happen to be in the East Bay, but I wouldn't go out of my way to see them.
