I love Hale Center Theater. The shows are top-notch, the atmosphere is wonderful as are all the actors/actresses. They are a very professional group that put on first class productions. I also love that it is theater in the round, and there are absolutely no bad seats in the house. Large enough to accommodate the sold out crowds but small enough that no matter where you sit the sound and sights are amazing. Well worth making sure you go, you will be amazed!
Hale is always the best show. Afterwards you can greet the key characters in the lobby and even take pictures with them. They are a class act and theatre in the round is always renewed by them.
I was staying at a nearby hotel on business and just happened to drive past the Hale Center Theater. All I can say is that the experience is worth every penny that you pay for the ticket. I think my ticket costs only $30 and for that kind of money, it is a great value. I saw 'Catch Me If You Can" and the performers were great. Very solid singing and the show was entertaining. Highly recommend this attraction if you have an evening to kill.
I love this theater. There is not a bad seat in the house. It is very intimate, you feel immersed in the story. This is also a great place for a corporate presentation. Nothing bad to say. Prices are even reasonable.
Was vising in West Valley when a co-worker mentioned seeing "The Christmas Carole" at the Hale Centre Theatre earlier in the week. I called and there were two tickets left! I bought one and what a magnificent way to get into the Christmas spirit!! Lovely venue and very very talented actors! Beautiful voices and the children actors were very good. It sells out every year and this is the 30th year in production. I felt very lucky to have been able to get a ticket. A must see if you can get tickets!
Took the whole family to Christmas Carol ages 8 - 15. Everyone of them loved the performance... and so did the adults.Very professional and well done performances. Will be back.
We have been here a couple times. Most recently we went and saw Mary Poppins in July. This place always surprises me. It is a community theatre but i have seen theatre at professional theatres that isn't as good as this place. The theatre is in the round and their stage is amazing it has several different sections that can be raised, lowered, turned, twisted, it is awesome. Several times they have shows that allow younger kids. So if you want to expose your kids to shows it is a great opportunity.
This is an experience you cannot miss! The theatre "in the round" provides everyone with a good seat. There are only about 9 rows all the way around- You are constantly close to the action! The theatre runs a singing and acting school and raises up amazing talent. I have never been disappointed in a single actor or actress. Even the children are a step above what one sees at any kind of local theatre. 30 years of selling out speaks for itself!
The story is still the same but the quality of the actors and venue continues to get better! The cast greeting us afterwards was a very refreshing highlight to the evening. We took our entire family and they all loved it.
My wife and I have seen many of their productions over the years and have been season ticket holders for the last two years. They classify themselves as 'community theatre' since the actors are not professionals. But there is nothing second rate about the actors, the production, and the staging. This is a small circular stage so there is absolutely no bad seat in the house. I am always blown away by how they can utilized such a small space to put on shows like 'Tarzan' and 'Les Miserable' that you are sure could never be effectively produced in such a small venue.
