This is the perfect park for a short walk with ocean views. The trail is smooth so it is perfect for all ages. I highly recommend a visit on a nice day.
A nice place to walk by yourself or with others, especially if you have a dog. Not a long walk, but you can go around the loops a couple of times to make up for it. You won't get bored because no matter what side of the park you're on you will have a fantastic view. Boston skyline never looked so good!
Webb Memorial State Park is a smallish park in Weymouth. The park is a peninsula jutting out from town streets to the water facing Hingham and Weymouth. You can even see the Boston skyline from several spots. There are two rocky beaches where people frequently sit to read and relax, maybe eat lunch. The rest of the park consists of picnic tables and grills in a couple of spots, a hill with benches and a picnic table on top with views of almost the entire park and yes, more water, and a long walking/running trails that circumvent the harbor. It is very easy to walk it once or multiple times for exercise or just to literally watch the sailboats, kayakers, and ferries travelling to and from Boston and Hingham.I go there at least once a week, sometimes more.
What a nice park! Great to take a nice ocean edge walk and see the harbors from different views. Lovely sunset vistas and friendly folks walking their dogs - clean bathrooms and obviously well cared for and loved.
I never knew there was this small park near by. Actually was checking to visit Boston Harbour islands and over the site i found this one as a place where we can park my car and take the ferry to George Island. This is very small walk or run guess 1.5 miles. Its good small beach, see lot of people reading books , sitting in chairs, viewing the ocean and the trial is a small 1.5 mile loop which you can walk by or cycle, multiple shot location of ocean , can take good pics there.Parking is free here.
My husband and I take our dog here all the time. We like it as there aren't too many people with dogs like Stoddard's neck or Bare Cove park. It's a good walk that includes a couple hills. We like going in the evening in the summer. It's very clean and there are restrooms available.
Nice walking area, a bit brisk in winter but still great. Hice for a short dog walk also, not busy on the water too!
I love this place. Beautiful views including the cityscape of Boston. It features a 1 mile long crushed cinder walking/running loop.Three sides of this park are surrounded by water. I can not say enough about this place, kept up well, very neat and clean. I am so lucky to live just a short jog away from this gem.
My husband and I love walking here on a hot summers day (great sea breezes) and late in the afternoon/dusk when you can watch the sun set over the city. On a clear day the view of the city is particularly wonderful. Picnic benches are great to have a grill and picnic, or just bring along a sub and drink....and USE the trash bins! A hidden gem.
