Places to sit outside with fountains and beautiful buildings and plentiful wonderful restaurants. Lovely and airy and pretty in the daytime and evening - would love to return in the summer
This is a fun little spot just to hang with the family in the middle of Downtown! They have various music groups from time to time, wonderful water features, very unique umbrellas, and fun restaurants surrounding the square!
This is the perfect place to take your kids or your date and hang out. I went with my husband and kids on a nice spring day and totally enjoyed sitting and people watching. I will return with my kids in their swimsuits so they can run through the fountains and with my husband to have a romantic dinner and one of the restaurants that border the square. Fantastic!
Fort Worth knows how to bring folks together for fun. Sundance Square has become a hub of gathering at all times of the day and into the night. Recent renovations have transformed the square into a magical place, particularly after sundown. Family friendly but lots of adult only activities abound.
Felt safe, lots of policemen around on bike, comforting while a little alarming, still enjoyed! Friendly shop keepers
The recently remodeled Sundance Square is a nice area to spend an evening in Downtown Ft. Worth. With plenty of restaurants for dinner and bars for drinks afterwards, the downtown scene is alive. The Sundance Square also has a new water feature with shopping and cultural stops nearby. Plus, the area is clean and well-lit. You will feel safe at night, and plenty of parking is available in the large garage nearby.
A large square in the center of Ft. Worth which was the crowded site of College Gameday when we visited. Perfect setting for this type of event with an enthusiastic crowd. The mural is several stories tall and very impressive.
This was the first time I'd visited Sundance Square since the big renovation. We wanted to eat at Razzoo's and there was about a 30 minutes wait (no big deal) so we wandered over to the square. 'Very nicely done! The Fountain is nice. Lots of chairs/tables sitting around for you to relax. Lighting is innovative and interesting. But ... everybody has one, right -- once we sat down at the table/chairs by the fountain there was nothing to do. Come on Fort Worth ... a go cup of wine/mixed drinks/beer from a local bar would have been nice on this mild February night while we waited for our table. 'Piped in music -- bring in some live music! It seems like a lot of unused potential. 'A wine bar in the wonderful enclosed pavilion?
This is a great night in Ft Worth. You feel like your walking around a beach community with cars circling and trying to park. What's the attraction? A great walk around town night in a very safe community. Actually downtown Ft worth is probably the safest place in America at night. Patrolling police on horseback, skateboards, bicycle , walking and cruising in cars. If there is entertainment on the square even better, but there are a variety of good spots, from Pizza Uno, to Saviannos, to Tarverna, and of course some great steak houses like Riatta and Dl Frisco's. So next nice temperature night, take a ride out here and stroll around
Nice square in the centre of Dowtown with nice cafés and restaurants all around. A bit quiet during the week but lively on weekends.
