  Está un poco a trasmano del centro pero no demasiado lejos y se puede ir dando un paseo. Tiene mucha cerámica de buena calidad pero está dedicado especialmente a las figuras de terracota, incluso de tamaño natural. El pequeño museo es curioso y didáctico.

  We were in Ubeda for a night and decided to visit Alfar Pablo Tito at his gallery/ studio after reading about his artistry and his family legacy. It was amazing! The craftsmanship is breathtaking and I wanted to take everything home with me! He actually offers workshops so if you are **really** into ceramics it would be worth contacting them ahead to try to do one. Beware that his gallery/studio does close mid afternoon like most things in Spain so double check hours before heading over there.

  Bonita coleccion de escenas del Quijote en barro, me gusto. Hay que bajar bastante para llegar al taller -y luego subir-. Un pequeño esfuerzo de paseo.

  Ubeda is famous for it's ceramics, so we wandered to the quiet area of the 'potter's quarter' and into this workshop. Each room was laden with beautiful pieces of varying size, all of which we wanted to buy! Pablo Tito was working on a piece as we entered, and rose from his seat to welcome us and invite us to explore. What an incredible mad and family. The museum upstairs shows the history they have created, with articles made for the royalty of Spain, along with ancient examples from the area.

  Paco Tito is the third generation ceramist. His father Tito is one of the most famous ceramists in Spain and still works beside him. They produce beautiful ceramic pieces, and many of them are very surprising. They make very large ceramic jars that resemble the Gazelle Vase of the Alhambra and measure more than a meter in height. They also make smaller ceramic pieces that are useful for the house, such as decorative plates, jars, cups, and many other objects. The shop is also a museum, the Museo de Alfareria (Pottery Museum). There are many terracotta busts of famous people, such as the King of Spain Juan Carlos, that were later cast in bronze and put in public monuments. Both Paco and Tito are very friendly people and welcome everyone to their shop. They still use an old Moorish oven to bake their pieces. We certainly enjoyed our visit to this artisanal shop and meeting the Tito Family, who were very gracious to show us around and explain everything.

  Se trata de una tienda de alfarería, en la que el alfarero està elaborando, alli mismo, a la vista de todo el mundo, las piezas que luego tiene a la venta.En la puerta consta que ostentan el Premio Nacional de Artesanía. Y lo cierto es que la variedad de piezas que tienen expuestas parece acreditar que así sea.Tienen a la venta piezas de muchos estilos diferentes, clásicos y modernos.Una recomendación: si no hay mucha gente en la tienda, podeis aprovechar para hablar con él. Yo pude hacerlo, y fue una charla muy agradable sobre la situación del sector de la artesanía.

  Os recomendamos "De barro y plata" maravillosa combinación, tradición y bisutería. Todo en Alfar Pablo Tito es maravilloso, te transportan al pasado, allí huele a pasión.

  Por supuesto la puesta en escena de la alfareria, el arte, el sentimiento..la profundida de la tradicion ..no se lo pierda

  A cerâmica feita por Tito e seus descendentes é única, não tem igual em lugar algum. Sempre da cor verde, mas com uma decoração impressionante. Se estiver em Ubeda, vale a pena visitar.

  Un sitio que merece la pena visitar por su encanto e interés. Los maestros artesanos, Paco y Pablo Tito, nos transmitieron su pasión por la cerámica. Pudimos disfrutar de sus explicaciones en el museo y en el taller, incluso nos proyectaron un documental interesantísimo sobre el proceso de elaboración. Un museo muy recomendable.
