I was fortunate enough to work at a fundraiser at the Governor's Mansion. Beautiful building, but I would have liked to see more historical interpretation, etc
I was on a Bill Clinton "tour" and just had to see where he had started. Just a quick drive-by but it looked an amazing building with an obvious sense of history.
Always a treat to visit the Arkansas Governor's Mansion. We had a Make A Wish Event in November and was welcomed by the Governor and his lovely wife. Such a beautiful home with a great event room for our community to enjoy!
Attended a reception there. Governor and his family actually live there. The reception area is beautiful and so is the garden. Makes me glad that the Governor's Mansion represents Arkansas well.
This attraction is free entry though its polite to leave a little something to help with its upkeep. I didn't think I would be interested but honestly it's really fabulous. Some wonderful custom displays including some of Hilary Clintons dresses (she has truly awful dress sense amongst her truly awful personality) please visit, you will be pleasantly surprised.
we drove by as it wasn't open but it has a lovely façade and large landscaped surrounding lawn area lots of trees set in a very nice neighborhood which it fits into
The structure of the building was outstanding and the tour was on point! Well worth my time exploring the city!
The mansion looks very nice from what we could see. Unfortunately it was not open when we were there.
Mrs. Beebe always welcomes visitors by saying, "Welcome to your home." The home is beautiful and welcoming. If you are fortunate to visit for a breakfast, dinner or cocktail party (as I have been on several occasions) you are in for a treat. The service and food is wonderful. The grounds are beautiful and Mrs. Beebe proudly shares her garden. Although the Beebe's are gracious and welcoming hosts, they don't stay so long as to intimidate guests.
We had the opportunity to attend an event with the Governor at the mansion. It is such a lovely building with classic appointments. We were blessed and hope others take advantage of events and tours when they are offered.
