The whole area of this temple is great as it is next to the old part of town which not long ago was restored to its original look.
A beautifully preserved temple where the main deity is the Patriarch of Clearwater Cave, a monk with miraculous spiritual and healing powers from Fujian Province. Upstairs, in addition to the bell and drum towers are an excellent room dedicated to the 60 Year Gods (Tai Sui) and their ruler the goddess Domu, and another to Wenchang Dizun the god of literature. The architecture is fairly spectacular, and in terms of cultural heritage, this is one of the best temples in New Taipei City. Best time to visit is at the annual God Pig festival and on weekdays when it is less crowded.
As the subject suggested, you will awe by the architectural beauty of the temple and next to it will be the entrance to the old street ...
