Was a fun experience we had a good time but it is geared more to younger children. Would need a bit more to make it more fun for adults. The staff were really great and helpful. Friendly. The smaller children were having a blast. If you have elementary and younger children this is a must to do
The tubing park was a great way to finish a long day of skiing for my children. They were able to enjoy the snow, while I was able to ski the bigger runs that they were not ready for. The one complaint was some inattention on the part of one of the workers, attaching the tow hooks. Probably a boring job, but you are getting paid to do it, so do it right. Other than that, my kids loved it (one went twice) and it added a welcome change during their day (and gave dad some free time to ski).
These Guys really went out of the way to accommodate my two young children. The rest of the Resort could take a lesson from this crew. Great Tube Park and well worth the money.
My daughter (10) and I had an awesome time whizzing down the tubing lanes. Safe family fun! We would definitely go back
Everyone in our party (4 to 60 years-old) had a great time. The staff members enforced safe behavior and still kept it fun. Tubes, lanes, and pulling lines were all in good shape.
We went on Saturday night of Presidents weekend and it was great, Extremely cold, but there were no lines at the top to go down the lanes and the "lift" line moved really quickly. We were in a group of all ages, and everyone had a great time. Staff was really laid back and friendly.
We have been several times, and I have never laughed so much and had such fun. We have gone with friends and extended family and it is crowd pleaser. LOVE LOVE LOVE It.
We pre-paid for our tickets for the 5-7 pm timeslot on a Saturday night. When we arrived at the resort check-in earlier in the day at the Top of the Mountain, the lady that checked us in printed our tubing tickets, which was good because we then could go straight to the tubing once we arrived at Silver Creek and did not have to go inside the hotel to the ticket counter. The lady that checked us in recommended not driving to Silver Creek, since there was limited parking there and there was a charge for parking. She recommended taking the resort shuttle. The only bad part of our experience is that we sadly misjudged how long it would take to get to Silver Creek from the Village on the shuttle. The line was really long with skiers and snowboarders who were leaving the Village areas, where the slopes closed at 4:30 pm, to head to Silver Creek, whose slopes stay open till 9:00 pm. We missed 30 minutes of our tubing time due to the long shuttle line, which was really disappointing. But, the tubing itself was really fun. The runs themselves and all equipment were in good shape. All the staff was nice, especially the guy who was manning the j-hook that took you up to the top. The lines were not too long and got shorter toward the end of our timeslot as folks began to leave. We were there for a gorgeous sunset, so got to tube in light, dusk, and dark. Very fun experience, glad we did it. Just wish we would have gotten there at the beginning of our timeslot so we could have made even more runs.
Some of the lanes were slower than others. The staff monitored closely how fast people were going. On the whole it was not a fast track, unless you got one of the few fast tubes. They allow you to tie tubes together, but only one person per tube. Make sure if you are an adult that you get a tube that is not for a child size rear end. One of the tubes we had was very much smaller than the other and didnt feel safe for an adult.
We had a great time! The only issue is that you have to wait for about 15-20 minutes to get on the lift to get back up. We asked if we could just walk up, and they said we where not allowed to (it's really not far). They could make this experience perfect by making a walking trial for people that do not want to stand in line for the lift.
