This amusement park has grown in last five years like you wouldn't believe. More than what I can say about the economy in this town ! It's a beautiful park !
Me and my fiancé go every year we can and it growing every year and I love it every time we go u do not have to wait to go on rides there the food is good there If you never have got to be able to go there you need to go the best roller coaster is ravine flyer 2'
This park gets better every year. It has both the old time & new time rides. And also an ever growing water park. Right next to Presque Isle State Park also. The lines for rides typically are not bad. Easily could spend a whole weekend there. Great picnic grounds also
I have been coming to this park since I was little and they really have expanded it,now I take my children and it's very nice clean park always making improvements. The season pass makes it affordable and enjoyable you don't have to spend all day to get your money's worth like before,we went about twice a week.
I always end up buying a season pass, my ten and seven year old love the rides, it is free to enter the park. With it being a smaller park I am able to have my kids ride the rides and am able to hang back and let them do their own thing. I usually go on a week day much less crowded, on the weekend it some times can be very chaotic. However the food is over priced, it is the same price as much larger parks and is not very good (very greasy a bad combination with riding rides). PLEASE NOTE you are unable to use physical money at the park, you have to buy a prepaid card which is crazey and unacceptable, I bought one once and as we were leaving the pack my boys wanted some gotten candy however my card was short ten cents and I wasn't going to wait in line and add money to the card, it made my boys cry. On top of that you are unable to get a refund on any money left on the card. It feels like a scam do not use it. Still my boys love it there and is a good time for the family.
This is a nice family spot also. Lots of fun rides and they continue to add more. My kids and I usually make it there once or twice a summer.
We hadn't been to Waldameer for several years and were pleasantly surprised to find many new rides for the little kiddies. The park was clean and attractive and the kiddie rides just suited our grandchildren aged 1 to 7. They had great fun! I know the next time they visit in the summer they will want to go back.
Wonderful mid sized amusement park with attractions for all ages. Constantly expanding and improving while remaining a great affordable family destination.
This is a wonderful and affordable (the park is free) place for the whole family! There are rides for everyone. Fast, slow, water slide, sky lift, roller coaster, etc. There is something for everyone. You can have a picnic, talk a walk, sit on a bench, ride, slide, eat and be merry. It has a wholesome hometown feel that is clean, friendly and is constantly upgrading with different experience for families to enjoy.
You just need to go to the web site for this park to see all that it has to offer. This park has been a family owned and operated jewel for the Erie area with constant updates and expansion of one of the oldest amusement parks in the country has kept this place a great place to experience. Free parking, reasonable admission charge and you can even afford the food. Fireworks on those special summer holidays and your personal safety concerns are paramount. No messing around at this place! When my grandkids from Texas come to visit I know of two places that they insist on going to. Presque Isle and Waldameer!
