Small board walk to the tree. Definitely worth a stop and look. best to have your own car and do it part of many other attraction in the Atherton Tablelands (if coming from Cairns).
It's been a few years since I last visited the Curtain Fig Tree outside of Yungaburra. There is a wonderful viewing platform that provides a 360 degree view of the Curtain Fig and just reinforces how amazing mother nature can be.
This fig tree is amazing. We were lucky in as much that no one else was there when we visited. The boardwalk around it is wide and level so it is easy for all to view. A free attraction that's fascinating. Well worth a visit.
A huge tree that's incredibly cool to look at. There's not much else to it then that. There's a boardwalk going all the way around it, allowing wheelchairs and bikes. Go around 8 in the morning, before big groups get there.
This curtain fig is just out of Yungaburra. It is well signposted and there is a good carpark and boardwalk leading the tree. Strategically posted boards tell you about the tree and there is plenty of scope for interesting photography. You are looking at a 10-20minutes stop to see a fine example of nature
Very busy with tourists viewing this quite unusual tree. Very cool to see. Ensure you walk all of the way around it!
What a great attraction and easily accessible for everyone from young to old, well worth a trip to stare into the curtain and see what mother nature has created.
Visited here with friends. Really impressive natural structure. Fully accessible to anyone with mobility issued.
The Curtain Fig tree was a wonderful sight .I got some great photos of the tree and the surrounding forest was pretty to. Highly recommended.
worth checking out if you have a car. or if its part of your tour. the tree isn't far from the room side.
