I am excited to share this place with my trip advisor buddies. We went at night and the place was lit up and just charming. The previous mentioned carousal reminded us of so many of the cities in Europe who have one. Nice shops but this is not a mall. The Gardens Mall is up a block !This is a place to linger and people watch, have a great meal and just get away from everyday things. I cannot wait to visit again !
you name it they got it a lot different from malls in ky nice and clean good deals i had a good shooping time
Just came back for the season and was pleasantly surprised to see Downtown at the Gardens was as beautiful and happening as it was when we left in April. As others have mentioned there is something for everyone here. My family loves the carousel and train. Fro Yotopia is always a crowd favorite. For dinner we love the choices offered here. At Yard House and Cheesecake Factory even the pickiest eater can find something. The addition of the Golfsmith seems like a no brainer. Z Gallerie moved into a larger space and all those boutiques are still open. We love this shopping center. Oh and they have live entertainment on the weekends!
What can you say about a shopping mall. How about great design and welcoming atmosphere. We discovered it when going to the Cobb 16 movie theatre, housed there. Open design benefitting from wonderful Florida weather. Lovely restaurants, cafes, ice cream and Whole Foods. The coffee there is excellent and half the price of the cafes. Then take your drink to a table in the courtyard and enjoy peole watching. By the way, senior rate of $8 for a movie is for those 60 and over. Worked for us.
My son and I attended a catered Birthday party at this business. Upon arriving there were no directional signs or employees to help us. When we were final met by staff we were required to fill out a cumbersome and lengthy digital release on a tablet computer. The lunch room was poorly organized and the pizza that was served was cheap and unappetizing. The play room was dirty and some of the furniture was broken. There are two in floor trampolines, two inflatable slides, a small slide with ball pit and a few costumes. There was no security measures in place to protect children from predators or going home with the "wrong parent". We were constantly worried where our child was as there are many blind spots that pose concern. Additionally there are only two toilets in the entire space making it for a very inconvenient situation for children, toddlers and parents. Poor security, inadequate facilities, and an under trained staff are causefor concern.
The outside mall was very clean and very quiet...which was baffling considering it was a weekend afternoon. It really made us feel that it was a Monday morning there. There were a lot of vacant units which was sad. Very unique shops though...it's worth going to experience and you can pick up a lot of cool things in these stores
Every Friday and Saturday at 7pm (unless it raining) there is family fun for everyone: wonderful live music and dancing til you drop. There is a great variety of meal choices from pizza, French, TexMex, Brazil, sushi, and whole foods. There is an ice cream and yogurt shop in case you're still hungry. The cheesecake factory is one of the big anchors right by the lake. There are little machines that dispense fish food, in case the kids want to feed the fish and turtles. The security is great; and often times celebrities can be spotted....;)Dirty martini is a very successful Night club that comes alive after dark.
While vacationing in the West Palm area, the couple we were staying with took us to palm beach gardens for a night of shopping and dining. We ended up at Downtown at the Gardens, and I'm glad we went here, there is a store for everyone! After all of our shopping, we hit the frozen yogurt shop by the carousel and it was a great place to end the nice, everyone is so friendly. We can't wait go back.
I didn't expect to come across Downtown at the Gardens when I was strolling from my hotel, looking for a place to eat. I did ask a local (who was out for a walk), but she didn't know what, exactly, was there. This is worth a visit. There is a Cobb Theater, a carousel for the children (and several other things for children to do, including a little mall train), a Whole Foods supermarket, and several restaurants. It seems to be well kept, and it is attractive.Neat place.
We visited Downtown At The Gardens the Saturday evening after Thanksgiving for dinner and a movie. We were treated to a beautifully decorated courtyard with holiday music playing. It was delightful and put us right in the holiday spirit. It didn't hurt that it was a bit chilly so we from the north felt a little more at home. The shops were all open and there were lots of families with small children running around enjoying themselves. It was a great evening.
