Love the food, atmosphere, and friendly employees. Summer in their garden full of local artwork is fabulous. Bought some plants for my garden this summer and enjoyed them thoroughly. Had dinner there recently and there were a couple of singers that provided wonderful music during our meal. Great place for birthday and Christmas gifts too.
The day was rainy, grey, cold and windy.. on our trip to the ocean for the weekend. After driving for several hours, it was lovely to get out and stretch our legs. We had a beautiful lunch in a private little alcove.. How'd they know we were celebrating an anniversary? Anyways, had a tasty and beautiful lunch.. did some shopping in the gift shop.. a bit of wine tasting and purchasing.. didn't get much of a chance to visit the gardens and the sculptures, due to the rain.. but they have a great dog off-leash area that was a HUGE relief for my pup.. An exceptional day with good food, nice and friendly people, delicious wine, and very dog friendly! I will return! :)
Ate lunch here the other day. Loved the dining room and the patio area. The food and service was excellent. Great walk in the gardens after the meal. Don't drink wine, but I might start based on what my friends say about the variety and quality here.
We stopped in to do a tasting and ended up staying all day! We tasted some delicious wines, then bought a glass of wine to take while we strolled around the property. We were having so much fun that we decided to stay for lunch and then played a round of mini golf (it was pretty grown over but that just made it more fun since we aren't at all golfers). It was hard to leave this place!
We recently held a family memorial at the winery and the staff couldn't have been nicer. The food and wine (Shorebird Chardonnay) were just excellent and the grounds were beautiful. I'd recommend this stop on the way to the coast even if you're not a regular wine drinker.
What a great place. A group of us retired gals when on a little field trip here, and we were so impressed! A family run business. Award winning wines. Wonderful people working here. Beautiful grounds. Great little restaurant ! There is nothing to not like here. Our lunch was wonderful. Blake the owner was so informative about wine, and had a great sense of humor. We went on a day where it was pouring rain and windy, and it did not dampen our day! A great jewel in the town of Aberdeen!
Had a great day! walked though the gardens and saw all their works of art and beautiful flowers. Recommend the homemade soup! Did a wine tasting, and while I know very little about wine their volunteers are up to the task of answering your questions.
We love this place. Wonderful staff, beautiful decor, great food and excellent nursery. Oh yes, it's much more than just a winery /gift shop. They even have golf of sorts. The food is great. The chef must have gone to an excellent culinary school. The best clam chowder on the Washington coast! And a nine-inch circumference cinnamon roll dessert that is unbelievable. And of course, the award winning wines! And these folks are heavily involved in community charities and events. Well worth the stop for lunch or dinner or just a free tour.
We had a meandering anniversary weekend with our first stop at Westport Winery. First the grounds are whimsical with theme gardens that will grow into their own over time. They also include a picnic table, a giant chessboard, gazebos, garden art, sculptures.. You get the idea. The wine itself takes an unusual direction. There are quite a number of tasty fruity blends a wide variety of sparkling. Reading the menus of wine is much like reading a Cheesecake Factory menu; it goes on and on and on. We weren't hungry when we arrived which is a pity and the other guests as well a town folk spoke highly of the restaurant. We were impressed enough to sign up for their Wine Club and take home a case.
We eat here often, it is not just a winery. It is actually closer to Aberdeen than Westport, so the name can be a bit confusing to newcomers. They are open for lunch and wine tasting every day and open for dinner on Fri & Sat nights. The food is always fresh and prepared with care. So very tasty! Everything from their sandwiches for lunch to the fillet steak at dinner. Oh yum! The mermaids on horseback (bacon wrapped prawns) or the crab cakes for an appetizer are a must. The Italian sausage tomato soup is to die for! Don't forget about their wonderful dessert selections, we usually just take ours home since the servings are all generous. We take company out here when in town, great place to meet the gals for lunch, and always perfect on a sunny weekend since they added a sunroom. Service is great, we see the same nice gals every time, they are always so pleasant and helpful. Oh yeah, the wine! Bordello Blonde of course! Mmmmm, I am making myself hungry now!
