It was very nice, only problem is parking when it is full.Nice attractions and great selection of restaurants.
I am by no means a mall person but this mall is the mall to end all malls. I think if they had a campground it could be described as a major attraction. I lost track of how many floors there were and the amusement park in the middle would keep a kid busy for days. An ice skating rink on one end and a wave pool on the other end. Besides all the shops and restaurants a vacation could be taken in here. We parked in front of door 50 and that was near the middle by the bus terminal. I could not think of any thing that was not in this mall......
This mall is just amazing it is massive i have never seen anything like it. It had a waterpark and a theme park along with ice rink. The shops are brilliant I think I only saw a few as it was so big! Everyone there were super friendly. I'm not one for large shopping centres but this is something to see. There is something for everyone!
Went to the mall on Sunday. There have been some updates to the interior since i was there last. The mall itself is pretty old and outdated compared to asian malls i've been to. One of the busier malls in edmonton but not the best. It has alot of attractions but the mall is essentially the same as it was in the 80s and early 90s.
在此商场你可以尽情玩乐,八百多间商店,美食广场共有三个区域,世界最大的冲浪泳池,电影院十多间,主题旅店,游乐场,国际标准溜冰场,足让你可以消停一天了.
The West Edmonton Mall is enormous. It boasts an indoor theme park with some roller coasters and its own icerink. There is also a sea lion show several times a day at the sea lion centre next to the scale model of the Santa Maria.
So the mall is ... well, a giant version of most malls in most big cities. Lots of shopping, lots of space to roam around. But my daughter and I decided to spend a few hours at the Water Park and had so much fun there! If at all possible, plan to do the same on your next trip to the West Edmonton Mall.
I lived in Edmonton and used to work in this mall, and while it becomes tiresome and in many ways overrated this mall really does have pretty much everything:- Hotel- Waterpark- Underwater adventure - Ice rink- Mini golf- Shooting range- Movie theatre- Casino- Dinner theatre- Grocery stores- Bars and nightclubs- Department stores- Medical clinics of every sort- Amusement parkOh yeah and over 800 stores, catering to people looking for the latest obscure Japanese manga to mainstream tastes or European designer fashions. For a city like Edmonton which has such a long winter this mall offers enough activities and variety to entertain. That being said it is overrated only because it steals the thunder for many other things to explore in the city which are often overlooked because they are not so visible.
a huge mall consist of indoor attraction and shopping. Great sales at every single shop. Very crowded over the weekend. Best place for children to enjoy the indoor swimming activity and awesome place to do alots of crazy shopping.
Do some shopping in this mall will take some time, but well organized for directions, and good mix of supermarkets, shops, kids fun, food/restaurant and attractions (iceskate, swimming pool, rollercoaster).Parking large, a lot of entrances. Some "unique" stores for the region like Disney store.Worthwhile to visit, recuperate and go back :-)
