If you like to hike, the Mill Creek Preserve West is a great place to experience Florida outdoors. There are multiple hike options, from 30 minutes to 2+ hours. You'll walk through a variety of wetland, pine, and oak ecosystems. Most of the trails are converted from old logging roads. A few are more rustic.The trails are all nearly level with excellent trail conditions. The price is also right -- free. I went with my wife, but there were lots of families with children of all ages enjoying the preserve.
