Our family hasn't visited the park in a couple of years, and I was pleasantly surprised to see more of a dress code enforced for staff members, as well as the staff taking the initiative to be friendly instead of just passing by guests. It just seemed like more like a mini Disney experience, which helps me justify the money spent. We will definitely be visiting more often!
Wonderful way for all ages to have fun! Good food, rides for all ages, shade and ways to cool down. Foods is affordable and many different choices available.
We had a great day here with our 23, 17, 14& 11 yo. If you buy tickets online you can save approx $15 per person. You can also buy food passes and fast passes. We went during "Spring Break" so school was on vacation and so lots of kids meaning the lines were long. The fast pass would have been good because we waited 1hr40 min in the Texas Giant line. Others we skipped as the line was just as long. The food is pricey and averages $10 per person min for hot dog, burger or pizza. We bought a refill drink bottle for $15.99 + tax(about$17.50) but we shared it and could refill it all day for free. We were there 10 hours so we probably filled it 10 times. We did not see probably half of all the rides as it was quite busy when we got there. My advice on what to do and how best to make the most of your day - 1. Buy your tickets online and consider a food pass and fast pass! You can also purchase parking online. If you live in the area you might want to consider a season pass. You won't have to waste time standing in line to buy tickets. 2. Get there when the park opens. You can probably get on the popular rides with little wait times and allow you to see other parts of the park at your leisure. 3. Lots of side shows that cost $2-$5. 4. Not a lot of healthy options so you might want to take your own. 5. Wear comfortable shoes as there is alot of walking involved. 6. Ask a local if you know one as they have ticket promotions every now and again!
We got season passes for spring break and went everyday. We also made use of the passes throughout the summer since we are only a couple hours away.
Great day at Six Flags! Great Rides. Great Food. The park and restrooms were clean. Fun family day at the park.
The best place to take your family or even a good place for anyone to go for the fun and memories that will last a lifetime.
Over the years I have gone to the original Six Flags located in Arlington many times. I went when I was a small child and loved every minute. I went as a teenager and loved how grown up it made me feel, for going off with my friends in a relatively safe environment for good clean fun. I took my sons along with my husband, and we bought season passes. My oldest son's first job was there. Now, I look forward to taking my grandsons there. It is a place of fun, exciting rides and is great for all ages. It is fun to go during the week when the lines are shorter, and during the spring and fall it is not as hot. You can always cool off on one of the rides that involve water. The shows are well done and fun for all ages. Be sure to experience Six Flags at night when all the lights are shining it is a magical place to be, so don't leave the park too early. The food is expensive, as well as the drinks, so be prepared. This park is still fun, even after about fifty years.
Had a very good time. Don't rush yourself and be patient. The other people may make it a bummer if they are not patient.
A great place for the whole family to have a wonderful time and the rides are good, thedouble loop coaster is great? There is sometime of attraction for everyone and any age group.
This place is loads of fun and the staff and management are very helpful. a clean and extra and i mean extra fun place for the whole family. whether your by yourself or a large group Six Flags caters to all. If you are a roller coaster fan this place i a must......
