Very nice park for your family for a summertime outing and BBQ. Quite safe and lots to do there. We go there several times a year...
Hudson Mills is one of many fabulous metro parks in the area. This one has a paved trail over the river and through the woods for walking, jogging, biking, roller-blading. Nice to have a picnic by the river. Excellent playground for young children. We loved it when our kids were little for a full day of activity.
I love this park. It has beautiful trails and a unique historical pieces. It's only a few miles from downtown Ann Arbor but it feels like a world away. A great spot for a run or casual stroll
Very pretty, easily accessible for all and a great place to go and get away from it all. Nice trails and very friendly people.
It's a great walk, especially in the winter when the hard-surface trails make walking easier. It's not especially scenic, but pretty and rural.
I am a huge fan of the Detroit area Metropark system. Hudson Mills is one of the best in their chair of parks. Beautiful four seasons a year, the park is not accessed by the Border to Border trail from the village of Dexter. Beautiful fall colors, a river, rolling hills. Love it.
You can walk on paved paths for more than a three-mile loop. The paths are cleared all winter. Good for biking too. There are also additional unpaved nature trails which are good for hiking and cross country skiing. There are many picnic tables for families. Has a good disc golf course (extra fee).
This park is about 5 miles from our home which makes it convenient for our evening strolls. It doesn't seem to abound with as much nature as Kensington but then it isn't nearly as large. Nice paved trails, a nice playground for the grandkids. The Huron river runs through it. We have put our kayaks in and had a great ride down stream. Nice place to take family photos throughout the seasons as well.
Beautiful fall colors, a river, rolling hills. Love it. Very pretty, easily accessible for all and a great place to go and get away from it all. Great Fireworks display in the summer.
I have played disc golf here for many years and there is the "Monster" hole on the extended course found at the disc gold course at Hudson Mills. You do have to pay a little bit to play as sometimes you'll see a employee on a golf cart but it is well worth it this course is excellent.
