  Beautiful location and some of the best wines that you will ever have the pleasure of drinking! Taste and tour is by appointment only. The trip up Howell Mountain is very interesting. You need to pay close attention to their directions and follow them to the letter. The tasting room and facility are beautiful and the experience is very personalized. The barrel room and cave are stunning! Their wine making process is unique. Sawyer our host was nice, but took a little time to warm up to. Sean the wine maker is a SUPER NICE man and took at least 10-15 minutes to sit and talk with us! Well worth the trip....and the wines simply speak for themselves. The Cabernets are in a class by themselves! Howell Mountain and Mt Veeder! Absolutely Love O'Shaughnessy! Cheers!

  blanca was our tour guide. she is wonderful. the cabs are the best I have tasted in napa. the place spared no expense where they built it. go there. yes it is a hike up the mountain
