This is a beautiful memorial overlooking the river. It is well worth seeking out and stopping to spend a half hour or more. The view over the river is beautiful. I have been three times and each time a feel a certain peace coming over me. A wonderful spot to reflect on life and what really matters.
Nice stop on your journey into or out of Annapolis; the memorial is tastefully done. It offers wonderful panorama views of Annapolis, the waterfront and the academy. Parking is convenient and access is easy.
Low key but very nice and inspiring memorial overlooking the Severn River. Visit at sunset. On route 2.
The World War II Memorial is just across the Severn River from the Naval Academy. It is a very nice memorial dedicated to the brave men & women who served their country in a time of need. It is well worth the time to stop & pay your respects.
Really interesting. Got there by the trolly tour (which i would definitely recommend). Has great views of Annapolis and the history there is amazing. I would definitely visit it again.
The memorial is situated on the high bank of the Severn and provides a scenic view on the Naval Academy and parts of the city, as well the bridge across the river.
The memorial sits across the Severn River from Annapolis and the Naval Academy. The memorial is well designed and offers a historical perspective of WW2. It also has an excellent view of Annapolis. Make the short drive across the Naval Academy bridge, you won't be disappointed.
An uninspired memorial by the side of the road, faded and unkempt. Someone should spend a little money on maintenance.
This memorial was beautiful and has a nice setting. It was included in the bus tour from the Visitor's Center. We were able to get out, walk around, and take pictures.
Great stop for a picture overlooking the USNA a great monument and the best view of USNA. It is worth the trip over the bridge
