We were there in September and it still was spectacular. Artwork is displayed among the beautiful trees and flowers. There is a dyke walk of the Acadian dykes. Great walk. There is also an Acadian house. Gift shop is nice as is the center. THey have a cafe, but we did not visit it. THere are lots of events at the garden.
The gardens are divided into separate areas, which show different styles of gardening across time. We were late in the year but it was still interesting and the victorian gardening was fabulouis.
Worth a visit. Not cheap. Perhaps maybe during the warmer months, altho' it wasn't too bad when we visited it. Some of the summer blooms were still visible.
Lovely well maintained beautiful gardens in a gorgeous setting with many interesting plants and designs Don't miss a chance to enjoy this lovely spot while in Annapolis Roya
Am a member of this wonderful place . It is a great spot to enjoy and gardens are different each month .. Members receive a monthly newsletter full of information and pictures worth the membership fee! Trish is a great photographer ! Couldn't believe the flowers .. Even roses still in bloom .
This garden would be better with more plants in bloom, which means visit in July or August, not mid-September. The garden is nicely laid out with a brochure that numbers the gardens and shows you the way. It would be nicer if more plants were labeled. Most were not.
When we woke up to fog we were a little worried about visiting these beautiful gardens. As well as enjoying the flowers we like to take loads of photographs. However, the fog soon lifted and we managed to achieve what we wanted. It is a shame that all the flowers can't be out at the same time for all the summer as we did find some of the flowers were over by the end of August when we were there. The gardens are kept so beautifully and with the aid of the map given to you on entrance you can walk on every path without feeling lost. It did seem expensive but not compared to English entrance prices to the equivalent.
Different styles of gardens, from formal to vegetable; lovely roses, interesting arrangements of plantings
lovely - especially liked seeing the dikeworks built by Acadians 400 years ago and the Acadian cottage replica
this is a beautiful location and a must see. quite large, beautiful grounds and great food. This is definitely a location worth taking an afternoon to visit.
