We're minor league fans and visit ballparks on our travels. This is one of the best. The admission is reasonable, and the food and facility are great. Baseball fans will love it. The Timber Rattlers ball club is an affiliate of the nearby Milwaukee Brewers so major leaguers regularly rehab here.
Family friendly, affordable FUN. The Timber Rattlers are a great team and there is always plenty of between the innings action to entertain the kids - young and old
This is the home of the Timber Rattlers; a Milwaukee Brewer's minor league team. It has recently been renamed. It is a beautiful stadium. Quick access from Hwy 41.
Love coming to games here. Excellent stadium to watch baseball in and they have great family entertainment. Food here is great and reasonable. They did switch names and it is now Neuroscience Group Field.
There are few things in life I love more than baseball, and seeing a game at Fox Cities Stadium (regardless of who is sponsoring the field) is a BLAST. The tickets are quite cheap, the game is exciting, and the stadium is very nice after being remodeled. There are many deals during the week to get people into the seats, and by far the most popular is the deal for Wednesdays, which includes $1 beer, $1 hot dogs, and $1 sodas. The stadium also offers 2 special seating areas. One of them is the "All-You-Can-Eat" section, which offers catered brats, hot dogs, chips, cookies, hamburgers, and baked beans. We were also allowed 2 drinks each while we were there, indicated by marks on the ticket. The food was actually quite good when I most recently sat in this section, and is well worth the price if you want dinner and a ballgame. The stadium also offers "patio" sections, where 4 people split a patio table with wait staff for your table. Split evenly, it is slightly cheaper than the AYCE seats, and are also along the first base line.Long story short, it's nearly impossible to have a bad time at this stadium. Between seeing some MLB prospects, good food, cheap tickets, and cold beer, you really can't go wrong. Great place for kids and adults alike!
Very nice clean stadium and easy to get around in. We had a very enjoyable evening watching the Timber Rattlers.
Name of stadium has changed but this is still the home of the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers minor league baseball team. Not a bad seat in the house. 2014 is the 20th anniversary of the Timber Rattlers franchise. On various days this season they are having throwback days. Tickets for field level box seats went for 1995 prices. Beware with the box seats though if you are one of us who have a sizeable posteriors lol. Still great seats and you get to sit amongst several baseball scouts. Great place for families, they have activities between every inning to entertain the kiddos. I had two faves last night, the build a burger competition with kids wearing bun costumes and the Merkts Cheese Spread race. Beer Cheese won the night I was there. Not only that they give you candy when you leave. Game was interesting too. Its amazing to me how you can hear the sounds of the game so clearly. Concessions are reasonable too. Hot dogs were $2.75 and a 24oz beer was $6.25. Looking forward to the game tonight and trying a Fang's venom burger.
A great family venue. Priced right---a great time for office parties, great for family outings, great for individual downtown to the old ball game. Separate facilities for large private parties--large bar area for stupendous happy hour---
We have been going to Timber Rattler baseball games for 4 years now. We try to get to 4 or 5 games a year. We are never disappointed. Fun the whole time with great activities and our kids and grandkids can get autographs from future stars of the game. We travel 2 hours and stay the week end to go to these games. This is also a very nice stadium with nice reserved seating however if you are in the bleachers beware last year one of the games we did not have advance seating as it was a last minute trip and were stuck in bleachers and next to a very large family and only had about 6 inches to sit on. One of our favorites seats are the third and first base patio seating areas. Patio seating have comfortable seats and a table, with wait staff. Beware on the first base side seating as you will be in direct sun most of the game. $60 for a patio table which seats 4. Reserved box are under $15. Very reasonable outing for a family of 4. Many promotions thru out the year.
This place is awesome, even if baseball isn't your favorite sport! Plenty of family activities. Prices are set to be family friendly as well. Never a bad time when visiting.
