We went to the Enchanted gardens for a family day out , just a under $100 for 2 adults and 2 kids ,$100!!! for just walking in a maze and looking at a nice garden , my son and wife had a go on the tube downhill slide and that was it . what's next, look at more gardens, we went up a very long hill about a kilometre away to the 3d maze which is no where near the rest of the complex ,this was fun for about 5 minutes but then what nothing else . walk back down the hill the hub of the attraction had a look at a small maze consisting of very tiny blue gum trees standing about a metre tall but what's the point of it it really is just a path not a maze, we all went nah boring . There should be a price difference for non tube riding or 3 d maze patron and a patron who wants to use these attractions basically I paid $30 as a adult who did not ride the tube tyre slide walked in a painted maze for 5 minutes and looked at gardens . It's a rip off I only did it because I did not want my kids to miss out but even they felt duped. Don't waste your time on this unless you like gardens and 1 ride Paul
Our kids (age 9) love this place. Tube sliding (there are 5 runs to select from) is a lot of fun and suitable for little kids and adults (you can get a double tube or single). Pulling the tubes up the hill is a good workout, so try doing this first when it's cooler. Plenty of mazes and obstacle courses for the kids, and garden spaces for a picnic or you can purchase food (which is ok - sandwiches, drinks, chips etc, prices are pretty standard). For an additional cost you can go zip lining across the whole grounds (again, suitable for kids and adults) and Tree Surfing. There are a few different difficult levels with the tree surfing and we saw plently of kids around 5yrs old doing the beginner course. For tree surfing you need to book online or call ahead and book in. I don't imagine you'd have much luck getting a spot without prior booking. For general entry you don't need to book online, but you can (although there was no separate entry for prior bookings).
My two children (3 & 5 y.o) and my wife/myself spent a wonderful afternoon at the Enchanted Gardens. The tree surfing was sold out but to be honest...given the age of our kids...you didn't need it as there was lots to do. They loved the mazes, tree bridge and the tube rides. We finished the day with lollies and the mirror maze and two very happy children. With all the exercise they slept very well that night!! We cannot wait to go back but next time....my wife and I just want to go on our own to enjoy the tree surfing as it looked like lots of fun!
We visited the Maze today and went tree surfing. I didn't do the courses but my family from Queensland did and they had the best day.The staff were so friendly, helpful and patience. They are a credit to the business. We will certainly return and I will recommend it to friends and family as fun day out.
This place is a must see. As the website suggests, you will need to devote some time here if you want to experience the whole gardens and activities. There are plenty of mazes to walk through; you can get a cheap scare in the 3D maze ;) there are many beautiful flowers in the gardens (good photo opp); nice surprise, brain teasers and challenges as well (for the nerds). The tube slides were our highlight of the day; can't get enough of it! There is a high-ropes course and flying fox available at additional cost but this seems to mainly focus on families with children. As a dating couple, it was nice enough to spend time chasing each other in the mazes and perusing the gardens. Would like to come here again but wish we could get a discount. The Mornington Attraction Pass is available but they've reduced the "attractiveness" of it each year by increasing the cost and including less attractions.
Two years ago we took the three grandchildren to the Maze, the eldest was too small for the treesurfing, but this year he was tall enough and now with the introduction of the "nippers" tree surfing the two youngest were able to participate as well, their day was absolutely complete! The courses in the trees were both exciting and physically achievable for all three boys, each of them was tired but elated at the end of the day. All the activities were well supervised where appropriate, the whole area was clean and litter-free. We had an amazing family day out, worth every penny, sorry dollar of the entry fee!
We took our nieces 6& 4 and enjoyed a great day out wandering through mazes, obstacle courses, tree surfing, gardens filled with fairy statues and beautiful wood carvings. We stopped for a bite to eat at their cafe and then enjoyed a tyre slide...take the family you'll enjoy it!!
Went to the Enchanted Maze with my daughter and two grandchildren (9 and 6). What a pleasant surprise. There were lots of different mazes for the kids to conquer, lovely gardens, a tube ride park that my daughter and grandchildren loved, friendly staff and a cafeteria with reasonable priced food. They also have several rope courses in the trees for the more daring (additional cost) that looked quite appealing. My grandson doesn't sit still but I never heard him say he was 'bored' for the whole time we were there. It's a great place for the kids to burn off a bit of energy while having fun.
Visited this place with my partner after we decided to take a drive to the beach. The weather wasn't all that great but, we still had a great day!!Lots of things to do and see... Best thing is the tyre slides :)Recommend taking the kids, they will love it!!
A fantastic day out for the whole family. It has to be in the top 5 family day trips you can do from Melbourne. I was caught by surprise with this place as I wasn't expecting to have so much fun. Tube slides and tree surfing are a blast for all the kids (big and small). The staff are all enthusiastic and friendly and genuinely want to ensure you have a good time. It may seem expensive at first glance, but for mine it is definitely worth the money.
