`This is the best place I went to see the great tortoises in their almost natural habitat, almost rain forest, big mud wallows, dozens of the great creatures both still and in slow motion. Wonderful
The beach is 21 km away from Puerto Ayora on a breathtaking road. Once there, do visit the flamingos lagoon. If you're up for a workout, I totally recommend to get there biking! Bring enough water because the hills are not easy, specially on the way back. A road bike would be ideal, but most shops rent MTBs only, it takes around one hour each way. Leave the snorkel, there's nothing to see underwater.
The fish at this restaurant is some of the best I've ever had. The service was terrible but worth it for the amazing food!
quiet beach that we road our bikes from the highlands down to. Quiet, with a beautiful little "lagoon" near it. Views of santa fe island. really nice beach.
The food here was very nice, seafood based. It always seemed crowded, so I don't think my experience was an exception
Is far from the city, but worth it, you take a cab for 25 dollars. You haven't anything near, so you must bring food with you. The place is awesome and peaceful.
We didn't like the beach but we saw the flamingos, then was good to make the trip, this place is little far.
In the Galapogas, it's hard to find good food for good value in a lovely outdoor style setting. We did at El Garrapatero. In fact, it became our dining room, with breakfasts and dinners. It took us a while to go (despite other good trip advisor reviews) and then we did and we liked it a lot!
It's a nice and quiet beach, and there's a camping there. The bad thing is that the taxi costs too much to get there, and the drivers make you pay more than the service is worth, because there's no alternative.
There are NO misses on these islands.. Wherever your tour company takes you, you will not be disappointed ...A weeks is enough time to hit most of the top spots.. I suggest a cruise over a hotel thoughThere are tons of sites not listed on trip advisor because a beach might not be a destination ... Take a cruise to hit more highlights.. Trust me one island will leave you craving more, and they are more spread out than you think... Don't waste precious time staying in one central " start " point
