I might be little late, because I visited Miami in 2011, but I decided to add this trip to my map, because it was a good experience. I went there for a weekend with my friend, who really likes city sightseeing and different types of tours. We decided to go to Everglades in order to see a little bit more than just the beach. It was a good tour, not too long so I admit that I enjoyed it. We've got a chance to take picture with little aligator and see a show. Take a camera and enjoy !
I went with my whole family, and it was very fun! The staff were always very enthusiastic and with joy. The captain that was with us made sure that we saw lots of crocodiles of the area. I went in winter and had lucky with seeing lots of animals. I recommend to go in summer!
Our 30 minutes tour was very exciting, and of course so loud. The driver was driving as fast as he could so that the speed may have reached the 70kmph. I recommend it for everyone, but mostl for families with children: it is a great programme for children
We learned a lot about these vicious (NOT!) alligators. Lots of muscle and very lazy. Great tour, loved the airboat ride.
We wanted to go on an Airboat tour so we chose Everglades Holiday Park. We were a bit disappointed we only seen 1 of everything. We made a joke of this as we took this tour. Also with your ticket you can go to the Gator show. Was pretty good. Picture they take of you is $10.00. A nice keepsake.
After early disembark from a fantastic Cruise on NCL Getaway, this was an enjoyable and well organised tour to the Everglades. It extends your holiday, (squeezing out the last bit from the bottle) if you have a later p.m. or evening scheduled flight home from Miami International airport. Our excellent tour guide, Alina Isabella, was charming, helpful and very informative about what were going to see and do, on the way to the Everglades National Park. The highlight was the airboat, which was great fun; have your camera ready for alligators, turtles and the unique river landscape. Saw more herons in one morning than I have seen in my whole life. Good excursion for families with school age children. No worries about being dropped off at the airport in good time to catch flights home.
We had a great time! Some reviews on Trip Advisor had me a little apprehensive saying boats we're dirty and staff was bad. Not the case! We had a great time and Mike was an awesome tour guide!
Everyone needs to do a airboat tour at least once. It is a fun ride and the kids love it. You learn a lot about the Everglades and it is a fun trip. It isn't something you will want to do on a regular Schedule .......like taking your company to the beach or taking someone sea shelling.......but everyone should go at least once.
I read about Everglades National park on this forum, it is famous name and perhaps only big attraction in Miami after South and North beaches. Evergaldes was quite boring trip , unending swampy land with big grasses, I took boat rie with my freinds and did not see many crocodiles. One can visit, not to regret and regret after visiting it.
