you have to choose simple place to eat or drinks, price sometimes more than double.mostly their foods ok but i can recommend Rosso Pomodoro itailan Restaurant
I like the feeling and the local atmosphere of this street. Sops werent exactly my taste but I suppose people like defferrent things and Bansko is a resort.
changer display buying ratesthe actual rate is much lower.the stree is full of tourist traps with a few genuine shops
We failed on our visit until the last day to fully walk down the street to the church and town square. There are much nicer places down at the bottom of the hill - make the effort and walk on beyond the new bits!
Nice area for shopping & eating, nice restaurants, good food and interesting shops for antiques and souvenirs ...
That street has a lot of shops where the tourists can buy souvenirs. It didn't appeal me and if you see it once is enough. The prices of the souvenirs are not so low as many say.
A nice walk on the Pirin street takes you through typical Bulgarian shops. Worth while checking the sweets shops, the shops with soaps and creams made of roses. The mehana's are nice. The general atmosphere is a typical Balkan one.
This main street of Bansko, primarily a ski resort proved very "unfriendly" to the town visitors following few days of consistent snow. We had to walk either on the street risking being hit by passing cars or moving through slushy trails of snow on the pavement which nobody seemed willing or trying to clear. For seeing many ski equipment renting stores and the rest offering more or less the same merchandise (mainly all kinds of hats and head gear for children) it's not worth it- definitely not after a snowy day- and mind you this is a ski resort.! Unless you are a die-hard party goer and look for the nightly bar scene- the cozy hotel lounge is a better alternative.
Actually, all was said in the title :) It is nice to go for a walk there, enter various pubs, coffee shops, stores, small shopping center; they even have few go-go bars and erotic show bars. People are very friendly, prices are very reasonable, wide choice of souvenirs... Good place to relax after entire day of skiing.
A very nice narrow street with plenty ski/snowboard shops, local taverns (mehanas') and souvernir shops.
