A beautiful place to walk laps around the pond or sit on a bench & people watch. Plenty of ducks to entertain the young or old.
This downtown Bellevue Park is a very peaceful place to spend time, especially during the summer months. Parking is available nearby and the expanse of green is very peaceful. In the busy world of commerce nearby, this open space is a great place for contemplation and just relaxing. Try it, you will like it.
This park is only 75% done and now the City Council has given Parks the go ahead to finish the final Southeast quadrant. In addition, in the true Bellevue tradition, citizens, veterans groups and local businesses have raised enough money to restore the WWI Memorial Monument in the center of the park under the grove of trees. This is a wonderful place to walk and chat and the perfect place for you and about 15,000 friends to enjoy the Bellevue Family 4th, on July 4th, celebration, first with a daytime festival and then the evening fireworks.
They have a 1/2 mile looped trailed that is clearly marked and there are different things to see on different parts of the loop so it is not boring. Dogs welcome and places to sit. Playground, sculptures, water features and near Old Bellevue and Bellevue Square if you want to grab a coffee or lunch
About 35 years ago Bellevue citizens raised the money to build a wonderful active park in the midst of what now is a a new high rise downtown. With an award winning design, an outdoor gathering place has been built that is used for festivals, a daily exercise venue for people living around the park with a large fountain and pond and children's playground and picnic tables along the eastern edge. It is a lovely place to take a book on a warm day, and sit on one of the many benches and read in the shade.
This park is walking distance from downtown Bellevue - Lincoln Square and Bellevue Square. There's a lot of grass around - so you can choose to laze around. There is a nice jogging track around. There are benches there. There's kind of a fountain/waterfall which gives place a nice feel. In summer evenings you will find people playing volleyball. There are ice cream vendors around. Really recommend a morning or evening walk here!
Its great! Gives you a nature break away from the shopping mall. Lovely circular walk, and not too long. Lots of people eat their lunch or read in the green space next to Bellevue Square.
Lots of room for kids to run and play. Well maintained. Super clean. My daughter played with some local kids and had fun.
We live near enough that we often - up to 6x/month - stroll up to the park with our dog. It's a peaceful place to amble along with other users in greater or lesser numbers depending on the weather. But being hearty northwesterners, folks here don't let a little rain or snow keep'm down. On nice days, the place is teeming with walkers, joggers, bench-sitters, volleyball players (with or without a net), dog-walkers, sun worshippers lying on the grass, people tossing Frisbees or footballs, etc., etc. You can enjoy peace and quiet even in the midst of much activity by finding a bench off the main circular walkway over towards Bellevue Way as it nears NE 4th. There are toilettes both at the NE and SE sides of the park, the latter next to the children's playground. The pond on the south side it often used to operate remote control model boats when the weather is suitable, and in the Dec. - Jan. period there's an ice-skating rink installed that draws lots of users.Parking can be the biggest problem, but it seems there's always a spot open either on the SE side or at the lot along 100th on the NW side.
Nice park, super clean and very well maintained. Excellent place to be on a sunny day, play ball or have a picnic.
