  Holland race park is right up there in intertainment vaule it is a good local race track with great famley value with free parking

  I have been to at least a hundred speedways and racetracks all across the country and Holland is right up there for entertainment value. The racing is so- so with too many filler entry level classes racing too many laps and low car counts in the premium divisions, at least on the night I was there. The track itself is nice with good banking allowing 2 wide racing all the way around and a kinda cool figure 8 in the infield. Also a good idea running the heat races at 5pm giving fans a choice whether to come early and watch or come at 7 to see the main events only. What separates Holland from most is the unique seating mostly poached from other venues Buffalo Bills stadium (maybe?) and the crowd of "fans" who show up. WOW is all I can say about both. The main stretch bleachers are difficult, weathered, and varied in height. There is a hokie suite section of reserved bleacher like structures that don't work at all. Best seating is a huge wall of stadium seats that from 100' look great. One trip up there and for your own safety you'll find a seat elsewhere. Also intriguing is the swimming pool section, maybe available for special occasions...Where you sit doesn't matter, you will be surrounded by foul mouthed drunk underdressed obnoxious individuals who a eager to engage in an altercation. Physical fighting in the stands was the main event while the racing seemed pretty clean! Quite a circus but a lot of people are in to this sort of thing. Next time I'll try to go to Lancaster.
